survivors debrief. rescue boaters will go through. the coast guard to find out exactly what happened on his boat as well mother who is presumed dead. wearing a white suit, nathan carman stepped down the orient lucky, the friendship that rescued between the two-year-old sunday. carmen climbed onto a coast guard boat in boston harbor which brought him back to shore after his mysterious journey. he surviving for a week on a life raft with food and water. carman and his mother went fishing when the coast guard said their boat sank off the coast of new york. carmen reported getting into his life raft but no sign of his mother. >> it was reported when the boat started taking on water he got his life raft, he went looking for his mom to get into the liferaft and he could not find

coast of martha's vineyard. his mother is presumed dead in the search for her has been suspended. family friends are devastated. >> thrilled that they found him and i was devastated that linda was not with him. sera: the coast guard plans to question him to discover exactly what happened. carman is living with asperger syndrome. he was been -- he has been in the news he has a lawyer with him today who pledges to be with him in any interview that might be required of him. heather: following more breaking news. a new york city fire chief is dead, killed in a house explosion. firefighters responded to this gas week in this home and he notified police after finding what appeared to be an illegal drug lab.
