hour on the south shore in plymouth. the wind is making it feel even chillier. 51 in worcester. it does feel like it is in the 40's. the wind bringing a touch of drizzle. northern worcester county. a few more along the south coast. we cannot rule out a patch or two of drizzle this morning, but the big area of rain is to the south. someth of clouds along the coastline. some brightening happening up to southern new hampshire. as we get deeper into the afternoon, some of that me sink down, so we may actually see a little bit of brightening with sunshine developing and spot this afternoon by about 4:00. temperatures stuck in the 50's to around 60 degrees. there is another cool, raw day-to-day.

telling them she was tied up.all of this happening down an embankment off route 18. the way method fire department, police and state police were involved in the search. we can see officers climbing up and down that embankment using a rope. police also laid out several evidence markers including one next to a shoe. weymouth police are not releasing a lot of information. out how that woman ended up down in the wooded area. as soon as we get more information, we will bring that to you. randy: a 14-year-old is in custody accused of shooting to students and a teacher at an element tree school in south carolina -- at an elementary school. he is also a suspect in his father's death. the teenager was taken down at the school by a volunteer

but the other student remains in critical condition. erica: a boater rescued at sea disputing allegations his boat may have been unsafe. nathan carman says he would have not have taken his mother out fishing if he thought his boat was not seaworthy. it was about 100 miles off rhode island when they started thinking. carman made it to a life draft but there has been no side of his mother. >> i did see a life raft. i did not see or hear my mom. i swam to holding on to the survival gear. i got on board the life raft was looking around and calling out to my mom. erica: three years ago court papers said he did come under suspicion and the death of his grandfather found dead in his connecticut home. carman was never charged and denies any involvement. randy: a toddler is

this could have happened. sera congi is at children's hospital with what we know. era: that two-year-old child is hospitalized with some pretty tough injuries. the children were at their families home in salem, new hampshire. police say the mother gave the seven-year-old the car keys and permission to start the car. moments later, she heard screams. >> ma'am, we can't understand you. i need you to take a breath. >> children are inquisitive. it was unsupervised. they are going to do things when the parents are not looking and they are going to do things that could potentially put themselves in danger. ersera: police say it appears te older child has been allowed to

chin but is expected to be ok. randy: the head varsity football coach at burlington high school is on leave, accused of verbal misconduct. administrators would not give out any specifics, but they say that they take any allegations of this kind seriously. an attorney for maguire says they have not been provided with any specifics about the allegations or but they are confident in investigation will find that the coach did not do anything wrong. erica: today, donald trump is headed for new hampshire. that battleground state in the crosshairs of an intensifying political battle. hillary clinton and bernie sanders teamed up on the campaign trail yesterday. one concern young voters will back a third party candidate. gary johnson and his running mate were on the unh campus last night.

investors will be watching for the weekly jobs -- new hampshire tourism leaders are predicting a record-breaking fall season. they are looking for a 5% increase in visitors and more and spending compared to last season. the state has unveiled a new marketing campaign that hopes to make new hampshire the northeast's premier vacation destination. it is national coffee day. that means free coffee at many popular spots. cumberland farms offering a free cup with a food purchase. starbucks is offering free coffee trees. they will donate coffee trees to farmers in need. randy: now to the stories trending right now. quarterback turned slugger tim tebow hitting a home run for his first at-bat. it came during his first instructional league game in florida and front of 250 fans.

to go. erica: a bizarre rescue in weymouth. police trying to figure out how a woman ended up down a ravine. she called for help off route 18 saying she was tied up. randy: police in philadelphia have shot and killed a man who stabbed two children. the man grabbed his teenage daughter by the throat and stabbed his eight-year-old and stabbed his 13-year-old fen he was asked to take his hand out of his pocket. as he approached police officers. that is when he opened fire. the conditions of the victims is unknown. erica: caught on camera, the moment just before san diego police officer opened fire on a man in a perceived threatening stasnce. -- stance. it turns out he was holding e-cigarette device. the sister of the victim for police her brother had suffered
