i'm randy price. >> i'm emily riemer. mike is in for cindy. >> national hurricane center came up with an update about a minute ago. the winds were 115 miles per hour. they have moved to 125 miles per hour. still keeping it as a category three. moving to the northwest now at about 12 miles per hour as it moves through the bahamas. what are we looking at? we're looking at category three right now, but it looks like it's going to a category four before it approaches the coast. see what's shore line. so as we talk about late tonight, it is just brushing against the coast, continues that way through daytona beach. as we look towards jacksonville, we're talking about friday at 2:00 in the afternoon. so this is going to be just hugging right near the shore line. a movement one way or the other just a little bit will have a big determining factor as to what will happen. it will move to the carolina coast and loop around and fall

tonight at about 11:00, palm beach may have some powerful winds. this will work its way upward as you head towards daytona beach. if movement one way or the other, by 20 or 30 miles, is going to have a big impact. it would keep the hurricane force winds offshore or push them into orlando. this will work its way along the coast, eventually diminishing somewhat in intensity. the whole thing will loop its talk about through the afternoon and into the evening. this is overnight tonight, 2:00 a.m. in the morning, category four storm right along the coast. obviously there are hurricane warnings up and down the coast all the way through. by 2:00 on friday, still maximum sustained winds of 130 miles per hour. then it does this loop. it heads into the ocean. out there it doesn't gain strength. in fact, it loses strength, becomes a tropical storm. we're talking about a storm that is really powerful right now and over the course of several days
