emily: randy, erika, good morning to both of you. policy took a backseat to scandal, everyone waiting to see how donald trump would react to questions about that now infamous recording on his behavior with women and with less than a month to go until the elections, kind of remains to be seen how voters reacted to what we heard here. we'll get into all of it shortly. first i want to check in with cindy with a first look at your forecast back in new emily. we are starting out chilly. it's 45 degrees in boston right now. the skies are clearing out. look at that wind out of the northwest. sustained at 20, gusting along the coastline closer to 30 miles per hour, and on the cape and the islands, we're gusting closer to 40, if not over 40 miles per hour. there's a wind advisory until noon. could be gusts closer to 50 miles per hour. all about that wind bringing in drier air, chilly air. 45 in lawrence. 41 in worcester. we're in the mid 40's in

erika: the pats back at home next sunday against the bengals. randy: the united states navy is confirming now that two missiles were fired toward an american destroyer in the persian gulf. they were fired from territory held by shiite rebels in yemen. the missiles landed in the water not far from the uss mason. this launch comes after a united arab emirates ship was targeted. that helped several days ago in this same area. right now, a 9-year-old girl is this morning police say the shooters were caught on surveillance cameras seen there, but they have not been arrested at this point. the shots were fired at around 1:00 sunday morning on annunciation road in roxbury. police say there was a party in a nearby parking lot before those gunshots erupted. that girl who was at a family gathering nearby was taken to the hospital for surgery. boston police calling for the public's help in finding those
