the pike, 15 minutes 495 to 128. and heavy out of methuen with a crash by 110 and another by 128. it stays slow down to the lever connector. thank you. emily: new troubling details in a home invasion and sexual assault in boston. randy: this attack involves two victims. the eyeopener sera congi is at boston police headquarters this morning with new information in this case. sera: the suspect in this attack is on the loose. boston police say that it happened at 4:00 a.m. on tuesday morning. a man broke into an apartment in the area of clarendon and columbus avenue. two people inside were sexually assaulted. boston police were called nearly 12 hours later from one of the victims at the hospital. working through the night conducting interviews and looking for evidence. the victims were able to give police a limited description but

might have. live at boston police headquarters, sera congi, newscenter 5. emily: thanks. new this morning the fbi says a plane crash in connecticut may have been intentional. that's according to the "new york times" reporting the pilot told investigates it was not an accident. a student pilot was killed when that plane burst into flames on main street and east hartford. it's unclear who was at the controls. and police say that the fbi was called in because factory, which produces jet engines for the military. these two suspects wanted in orange are preparing to face a judge in virginia. joshua hart and brittany smith were arrested on several charges on saturday including murder and attempted murder. they will face fugitive from justice charges today and could be sent back to massachusetts as early as tomorrow. randy: today will be a full-court press on the

randy: a neighborhood taking action after a convicted level three sex offender is released from prison is living among the families and the children there. richard gardner was originally sentenced to 190 years in prison, but after an appeal, only served 30. he got out. after his release he moved in with his family on chandler street and weymouth putting a neighborhood on edge. >> the children need to come first, and we should be the priority not catering to t convicted abductor and rapist. >> that's amanda hill. she has started an online petition hoping to get the governor's attention. they are calling for clearer and stricter laws for sex offenders. it already has close to 4,000 signatures. gardner has been summons to court after using a computer without permission at the

north shore and southern new hampshire. we are in the 20s and 30s yesterday morning. it's mostly in the lower 40s right now. and one spot here back in worcester county, the orange 39, but not nearly as chilly as it was yesterday morning. and there are the clouds, and notice the back edge right about here, these are going to be shifting out and we'll see a lot of sunshine today. with the clouds hanging around, it should make for a pretty sunrise. the high pressure is still dominating the weather. so we will have another sunny afternoon on to the west there is a frontal boundary. this front is producing some scattered showers. limited moisture with this. there is not a lot. so as this moves in, we'll have the opportunity for a few showers but we're not going to see that much rain. we are running above average for the month, thanks to what we had on sunday by more than an inch but for the year our deficit is still over nine inches, so we could use more rain. we're going to get a little tomorrow, most spots a tenth of an inch or less and most of that is going to be focused north and

hands after spotting his stolen truck going down the street with someone else driving it. aaron babcock chased the driver while putting it on facebook live. the truck was taken from his family's dealership. police eventually got there and they caught up to the driver and they arrested him with babcock right behind. the family is searching for answers four decades after a woman was found murdered. was found along interstate 495. this was in 1978 in bellingham. police say that she was strangled after leaving a birthday party in franklin. the prime suspect in the case is now dead. her six siblings are raising the money to exual theresa's body and have another autopsy performed. >> this is our last-ditch effort for us for my family. this is our last chance.

pittsburgh, we have that crash. this accident is cleared in methuen by 110 but that volume does stay heavy down to 128. another accident is gone, and then it stays slow. we have got a crash on route 1 by the tunnel delayed back to 95, and the pike is stop and go about 25 to 30 from 495 to 128. more volume on 95 from sharon. 24 out of brockton and route 3 from weymouth up to braintree. your trip on the expressway by the o'neal tunnel. buses and trains are on schedule. cindy. cindy: you saw the orange, how about a pink shot here? this is from sandy up in hampton falls. the el paca is nice, as well. gorgeous sky. this is courtesy of mid and high level clouds working on through. you can see they are sitting out across connecticut and rhode island so these are out of here, and the skies are going to brighten up. it's a deep blue sky but the

north and west of town where it was in the 20s and 30s yesterday morning. it's mostly in the lower 40s now. 47 in worcester. 49 in boston, and colder 40s south of town on the cape. it took longer for the clouds to come in. the high pressure though going to give us a nice day. off to the west you can see the showers. these are going to work in our direction for tomorrow. so we'll see the temperatures come up by 10:00 into the mid 60s and low 60s at lunchtime and we hold there in boston under the sunshine. easterly wind developing, east, the coast and mid to upper 60's inland, as warm as 68 in nashua. and southerly winds tonight with low clouds and fog and can't rule out the drizzle. not going to be nearly as chilly tonight with temperatures on the either side of 50. as that front approaches there will be some steadier showers. those will come through during the evening, but it's a milder day despite the clouds. we're up near 70 tomorrow, and again that drizzle in the morning and then as we get into the afternoon it's dry towards the late afternoon and evening
