fitchburg. it's just 60, so already above that this morning, 66 in boston. 65 in worcester, mid 60s on the cape, so obviously the kids out at the bus stop, need to dress, and then off the bus this afternoon, and upper 70s. this is sunshine, and much different day than yesterday. we started out year early this morning, but look at what's been happening, worcester, north shore, and the clouds are moving in, apart, associated with the frontal boundary. it will drop in with clouds and maybe a sprinkle. the clouds are dropping south, but by lunchtime we cleared things out from the pike. clouds will last a bit longer here on the south shore and the cape but here, too, we'll brighten things up. so starting out in the 60s. we're going to be in the low 70s by 10:00. mid 70s for the lunch hour, and then brightening skies. mid to upper 70s, making that run towards 80 this afternoon,

>> an emotional reunion, a swimmer embraced by loved ones. we're learning more about this effort. erika: sera congi is live in ipswich with the mission to find that man alive. sera: the man was out in the waters off of crane beach for four hours. all on his own. he and his son had gone out swimming and they were separated getting off of the coast guard helicopter just after being rescued. 58-year-old randall hackett of ipswich falling into the arms of relieved loved ones for a long embrace. video of the rescue shows just how challenge, it was for the coast guard crews. they were facing dense fog with the visibility near zero. >> these things don't usually

antoinette: each debate is different and format plays a big role. first there are six topics. immigration, entitlement, and debt, the supreme court, the economy, foreign policy, and fitness to serve as president, and the format. it's the same as the first debate. no town hall, just 15-minute periods on each topic. and one more factor, the moderator. chris wallace of fox news has control over how much to push back on the candidates and how to use our political analysts are weighing in. >> he said in the primary he looked forward to saying things to her face. i have no reason to doubt him. >> one other thing, we have seen candidates don't like each other donald trump not only doesn't like her, but doesn't like the press, the republican party and mad at everybody in this thing so i think that you are right he could say or do anything.

victim was shot in the arm, and that bullet traveled through his neck. so far no arrests. right now police are investigating a crash in brockton, a teenager struck and killed by an suv. investigates on the scene late into the night, and julie mcdonald is live with what we know at this hour, julie? reporter: investigates haven't released that information. police believe he could be a this crash happened just before 7:00 last night here on main street. police were here investigating what happened for hours. witnesses said that the boy rode his bike right in front of an suv. he was killed instantly. >> a child on a bicycle struck and killed, it does not get enough tougher than this. >> horrible to see a life taken like this. >> my prayers go out to his

did stay at the scene and is cooperating with the investigates. he has not been charged. live in brockton, julie mcdonald, wcvb newscenter 5. doug: the search continue this is andover for a man who police say exposed himself to kids at an elementary school. it happened on monday when the students were outside for recess at st. talking stein elementary school. the man was in a parking lot next to the school. witnesses say he stood outside his car and exposed himself proposal to bring slot parlors to their town. those opposed winning 2-1. the mayor tells the herald this is a good win. however it's not over, the question is still on the ballot in november. if approved the ballot question would grant the gaming commission power to put a parlor wherever it wants. also new o'malley is voicing question 4.

sunshine, and up into the 70s. the clouds have been working towards us here the past few hours closer into boston now along and north of the pike. and a lot of the showers have basically fallen apart. this is a frontal boundary moving on towards us with early clouds and maybe a sprinkle on the other side of the front. it is less humid, and we'll get into that air mass tonight. it's in the 30s behind the front, so it takes all day for that cooler air to work in. mid to u valley and metro west, and 80 in taunton, and 70s in the cape. you have got to get the clouds out of here. boston on northward, takes a little longer for you in southeastern massachusetts, but you will brighten up as well, and we have the clear skies here, and the temperatures are going to be much cooler than they are this morning. 40s and 50s. look at this into the afternoon, running close to 60 degrees, we'll have an easterly wind developing right off the waters

brighter as we get into the afternoon but look at this. the lunch hour, mid 70s going into the upper 70s near 80 this afternoon, and you can see the clouds approaching from the north and west, and the showers kind of dissipating, and this frontal boundary is going to come through and behind it the westerly winds will bring in drier and cooler air, but that colder air is way back towards the great lakes. this afternoon, we'll make the run into the upper 70s to near 80, mid 70s down on the cape. and you can see the clouds dropping southward here around lunchtime, and they may lingerfo massachusetts, but here, this will brighten things up, and it's clear, much cooler than this morning, and 40s and 50s, and tomorrow afternoon, yeah, not anywhere near those near 80-degree readings, closer to 60, and we're going to watch this front off to the west, and bring in several rounds of rainfall. it looks like friday is going to be the wetter day, and as we'll start out with sunshine tomorrow and get into a couple of showers towards the late afternoon and evening, and a few showers on friday morning but the heavier
