police say this is the vehicle involved. the subaru was a car the strip three people. the drivers now under arrest. he is chester mitchell of beverly. he is facing a number of charges. the most serious is oui and leaving the scene of an accident with injury resulting. a young victim was taken to salem hospital. th victim is not clear. dexter will be arraigned tomorrow or tuesday here in salem. reid: also breaking, a safety alert for boston college students. state police say a student was sexually assaulted while she walked on comm ave around 2:30 this morning. the victim was grabbed by a man who followed her to the area near chestnut hill ave. she was able to get away. police are still looking for the suspect. nichole: we're just hours away

you're being warned, for tomorrow, plan like there's a snow storm in the forecast. newscenter 5's diane cho is at the weston tolls where the toll booths are coming down. diane: we are not seeing any issues with traffic of this moment. if you're ready had delays on the mass pike's we can, it could get worse tomorrow. if you plan on using the mass pike tomorrow morning, you might want to prepare yourself for a bumpy ride. >> going on the mass pike anytime in the near future. diane: as crews continue demolition work to get rid of the toll booths, transportation officials are warning drivers to expect delays on monday asking people to use alternative modes of tranportation. drivers are also being asked to try to go to work earlier or later if you can. >> there's going to be a lot of

lane assignment which is why its impt to obey the speed limit, stay in your lane and do not stop at toll booth. diane: since the all-electronic tolling system went into effect on friday night, officials say there have been nearly 1.5 million transactions as of 8:00 this morning. the toll booth demolition is expected to be completed on november 22 until then drivers are being asked to be patient. >> the bottom line is there is less road for people some o what had been the road for people to drive on is now a work zone diane: we are told there was a one to two miles slow down. they opened additional lanes in each direction for a limited time. nichole: the eyeopener has you covered for the first commute with these changes. olessa stepanova will be watching any hang-ups on the pike as traffic patterns change. doug meehan will be in sky5 bringing you a birds-eye view of exactly what you'll face on the roads. the eyeopener starts at 4:30

mike pence is hitting the campaign trail in new hampshire. the indiana governor hosted a rally in rochester today. he's urged voters to re-elect senator kelly ayotte. he also attacked the clintons. >> when she and her family opened a private foundation that took donations from foreign server. nichole: on thursday, melania trump will deliver her first speech on the campaign trail. right now, we only know that it will be in a suburb of philadelphia. the clinton campaign is also focusing on new hampshire. vermont senator bernie sanders will be there on tuesday to support hillary clinton and democratic senate candidate maggie hassan. sanders will hold rallies in plymouth and hanover. reid: right now, boston police say they had no

end. he died from his wounds. but as newscenter 5's rhondella richardson reports, grieving relatives say police went too far. rhondella: mom called for help for her emotionally disturbed son. >> he violently turned on me with a large knife. clearly the mother in the 911 call made it clear he suffering from paranoid schizophrenia. rhondella: friends and family identifying. >> you don't have to shoot. >> our condolences go out to the family. unfortunately, in this case, it left us with no choice.

captured now, the search took up precious police resources. it weighs a thousand pounds,has an aggressive disposition, and it was on the lam for hours. this bull that had escaped a westport farm last night was finally corralled this morning along this long and quiet road, not far from westport high school. at one point, the bull tried to go toward the paved roads. so they startled the animal to get away from there it went back into the woods. reid: police say the person who spotted this stubborn steer may have also heard a second

this one escaped from a farm where, earlier this year, hundreds of animals were removed due to unsafe and unsanitary conditions. the bull's owner in a heap of trouble for lying to police, initially denying the bull was his. he may now face charges for wasting police officers time looking for the lost bull, they tied up resources for about three hours last night and ever since about 8:30 this morning we've had two animal control officers trying to look for this loose bull and other loose calf. nichole: the westport farm is a tenant property with people renting space. police say the farm's owner has been cooperative with officers looking into the missing animals.

reid: stunning new video from a man's rampage at a tsa checkpoint in louisiana. you can see him swinging a machete in one hand and spraying wasp spray with the other. only one tsa agent was hurt during the attack, a minor cut. the suspect, richard white, was shot and killed by police. the video of the march 2015 attack is just being released. new details from the investigation into the plane that erupted in flames on a chicago runway. federal officials say a disc in the high pressure turbine failed, causing the engine to disintegrate during take-off. investigators found pieces from the plane's engine a half-mile away. 20 people were hospitalized for injuries after the fire. they have since been released. reid: new at 11:00, an internet attack is flooding 911 centers with bogus calls. if you click on the wrong link, your smarphone is hijacked, continuing to dial 911 even when you hang up. >> 911, what are you reporting?

normal night in thurston county, washington, when 911 operators thought they had a catastrophe on their hands. >> and all of a sudden, the phones just went off the hook. nichole: there was no emergency. it was a hoax fueled by a malicious hack, taking over people's cell phones when they clicked on this link being spread on twitter. andrea jara clicked and lost control of her own phone. >> it was a black screen that kept saying 911, 911. every time you clicked end, it was just calling calling calling calling. nichole:he those warning of the major public safety issue. in washington state tonight, an 18-year-old man has been arrested for investigation of data service interference. police say he claims he spread the link after getting it elsewhere. law enforcement are warning tonight the same link is being spread nationwide. and once you click, the only way to stop your phone from calling into 911 centers is to power it off.

like the pick of the week. this cold front is coming in from the west. it triggers off a round of showers. behind it, here comes the cooler weather back in. i temperatures back into the 50's. you know what happens this weekend? daylight savings time comes to an end. that means, for you early risers, it's good news. you get sunshine a little earlier. for those of us who enjoy the sunset, it is really early, sunday, just enough cool air in place that we could see a few snow flurries sunday night area nothing like what we saw back in 2011. but this is the time of year we start to talk about the first few snowflakes out there. reid: always positive news.
