ethan costello says he was a teen with hopes and dreams, but all of that was shattered. he was at a house party on boil ton when the victim accidentally stumbled into the defendant. >> the defendant admitted to other people when he was bragging he grabbed him into the throat and slammed him into the ground. reporter: others at the party took costello to the hospital, but there was a delay. there was a him being dragged out of the barn by three people. >> they actually started a fight to prevent him from being taken to the hospital, and ultimately he was taken to the hospital, but quite a bit of time passed. reporter: a number of teens were drinking at the party including the victim, but the investigation shows the suspect was not intoxicated at the time. castello had a traumatic brain

several children were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. it is unclear what caused the crash. >> ben: a rape on campus when school was in session. the alleged attacker went before a judge. rhondella richardson was there. reporter: it happened near the footbridge in this parking lot just 1 feft yards from the brockton high school door. the accused rapist arrived in a silver mini-van with dark, tibt he is accused of raping a 19-year-old girl he met at his family's chinese new year party. they say the dj was texting the senior when they met. during school lunch he'ed the girl in his van. the alleged victim reported to a teacher and then police. >> she became more visibly upset and crying. she began to cry very hard. reporter: hundreds of students are outside during lunch. there are also surveillance

high cloudiness around and that's a great day to be outdoors. it is very mild. thursday looks mealed too. there is a significant cold front approaching and it could touch off a band of showers or downpours or even i'm bedded thunderstorm and that will move from west to east through the region. once it does so there will be an uh property temperature drop. there is some suggestion of a disturbance way offshore that could throw a little moisture back near the coast. if it did it may be chilly enough for a few flush -- flurries or showers. i wouldn't be too concerned with that at this point. you have your mealedder weather in here and that's for sure. you will see that even though it is cloudy on wednesday i want you to know the temperatures will be in the 60s. don't be shocked if a few
