monday. >> look at this. it is, there is some sun back on the horizon. earlier sunrise but it is chilly, just 25 degrees in jaffrey. 24 in orange and notice worcester at 33. beverly in the north shore. 37 in boston with mid 30s down to taunton and new bedford, but 40s on the cape. even plymouth down this way, winds gusting to 20 miles per hour. and a bit of cloud cover coming off of a storm off the shore it is through plymouth county, clouds may linger and the skies should brighten up this afternoon. elsewhere, though, it is a bright, chilly start, so through 8:00, we're in the 30s, and lunchtime, mid 40s.

river in cambridge. investigates say there was a two-car accident at memorial drive and river street early this morning. the driver of this car here did not put the vehicle in park after the crash sending it right into the water. no one was in the car at the time. one person was injured in the crash and taken to the hospital. more breaking news, family members just announcing that janet reno who served as the nation's first female attorney general has died. reno became known for of controversies in the clinton administration including the forcible return of five-year-old elian gonzales to his father in cuba. reno died of complications from parkinson's disease. she was 78 years old. commitment 2016 right now, both candidates making their final move. it is the last full day on the trail after a bitter election battle and in over 24 hours now, it will all be in the hands of the voter.

where there are a lot of questions this morning. nicole: many questions remain. police confirming that someone was shot and killed. this morning a manhunt is underway for a gunman. police say it happened around 2:00 p.m. on sunday afternoon here on ferry street. investigators on the scene for hours. one woman who did not want to appear on camera was in the area at the time. she heard the gunshots and called 9-1-1. >> it's nonsense that this violence is going on, you know. it's tough. i pray for the family and that this doesn't happen again. this violence has to stop. >> the victim, a man was taken to the hospital. that's where he was pronounced dead. his identity not being released this morning. nicole estaphan, wcvb newscenter 5. randy: all right, nicole, a 70-year-old man is dead after being hit by a truck in

no charges have been filed against the driver who we are told did stay at the scene. investigates say that it does not appear that the victim was in a crosswalk. >> salem, new hampshire, a woman is expected in court after police say that her seven-year-old daughter accidentally ran over her two-year-old daughter. amylynn boehm is facing criminal charges. she gave her car keys to the seven-year-old to start the car back in september. that's when the girl backed over the toddler. the t boehm is facing child endangerment charges. >> an earthquake in oklahoma is still rattling nerves, the man made cause of some of those tremors. and a holiday shopping scam where you might not expect t the purchases that could get you in trouble. new this morning, what is really in your beauty products? why it's not heavily regulated and what a local business is doing about it.

below average, and 60s tomorrow, and average is 55, and notice we will start to trend cooler than that as we head towards the end of the week. out the door, look at these readings, 24 in orange, and 33 in worcester, we're running in the lower 30s on the north side shore into boston, and plymouth is 40 degrees, and we also have mid 40s on the cape. this is where we have more wind, gusty out the door. and those winds are coming in off the ocean, so they are promoting some cloud cover, big storms off the shore, and this is moving out, butt push out for you. so through about lunchtime, there will be cloudiness from time to time here from plymouth all the way down to the south coast and out to the cape and thereafter the skies should brighten up. so a lot of sunshine for the rest of us today, already as the high pressure noses in, still in the upper 30s at 8:00, and mid 40s at lunchtime and when the sun goes down it's only

jesse about a month ago, and this morning police are asking for your help, the public's help in finding a car that was last seen in the area of the fatal shooting here in roxbury. boston police released this photo of a black or dark blue newer model nissan ultima. it was back in october that a florida man was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the area of ziegler and deerborn street. that was at about 5:30 at night. he was tako the orlando sentinel newspaper reporting that he was a suspect in a murder in florida at the time of the killing, and anybody with information is asked to call boston police. we're live in roxbury this morning, doug meehan, wcvb newscenter 5. emily: thank you, firefighters say that they may never know what caused this deadly fire in roxbury. one person was killed. a second severely burned when this fire broke out on saturday on george street.
