education for kids. and: and there is question 4, it will decide if marijuana becomes legal in massachusetts for anyone 21 and older. supporters say they want to make sure marijuana is regulated, but those against the ballot questions say it's a public health and safety issue. >> they authorize the sale and aggressive promotion of highly potent pot edibles, it has no solutions to do with drugged driving and we have seen a doubling of fatalities on the roads in washington control away from cities and towns. we want to give this to businesses under the state regulators, businesses that check ids and sell safe, tested products. maria: all the ballot questions also bringing people to the polls tomorrow in big numbers, secretary of state bill galvin says more than one million people cast their ballots during early voting. galvin expects total turnout to hit more than 3 million voters, or about 67%.

a third body has been found on the property of a suspected south carolina serial killer. todd kohlhepp is suspected in at least 7 murders dating back to 2003. he was arrested last week after police found a woman chained inside a storage building on his property. the bodies of her boyfriend and another victim were soon found nearby. so far, kohlhepp has been charged with 4 murders, but that number is expected to rise. a search for a missing northern california mother of two has turned up nothing so far. sherri papini went out for a jog last wednesday afternoon and never returned. her cell phone was found up the street, but since then, nothing. papini's family thinks she was kidnapped. her husband is begging for someone to find her. >> bring her home, bring her home. bring her home. bring her home safe. maria: the family has put up a $50,000 reward for anyone who can help figure what happened to sherri papini. ed 5 investigates getting quick : action following our

environmental police officers. governor charlie baker has called for an investigation after our story exposed a troubling pattern, some environmental police officers on duty, at home, on the taxpayer's dime. others were out on patrol, but not doing much work at all. one example, officer pat robert was on the clock but at home for between three and six hours on multiple days. we also found robert and other environmental officers driving above the speed limit when there was no emergency at all. >> you think there needs to be more oversight of the department at all? >> i think that i have talked to the folks at environmental affairs, they need to look through some of the issues that were raised by the report and if there are issues associated with people leaving inappropriately and treating the taxpayers with less than the respect they deserve, then we will take action on that. ed: environmental police officers are also allowed to split their shifts
