spanned three months. people who live here are hoping this clue can lead to answers. a dark-colored suv was parked here along the road where vanessa marcotte's body was found. witnesses saw it the afternoon of august 7 right around the time the 27-year-old left her family's home for a run she was never seen again. for more than 3 months now, her family and this community have waited for answers. that is the part that is unnerving. no one has an answer. reporter: people who live here hope this clue can help lead to justice. police are asking to think back to that sunday afternoon and they are asking for a phone call if they know someone who may have had access to a dark suv, that man may have had visible injuries. marotte was here, visiting from new york, and tonight, outside her family's home on the same road she disappeared a lingering hope that someone will come

and you say that is the person. reporter: another security camera is on the outside but it is pointed at the pump. the owner thinks he avoided it by going along the side of the building. ed: police have an arrest warrant for the boyfriend of one of the victims and a stabbing. court documents identify 26-year-old jeffrey labathe of hyde park as the attacker. police say he attacked a 23-year-old woman and her 43-year-old mom in their home on huntington avenue ine he's also accused of breaking windows at the home and smashing up the victim's suv. the landlord today mopped up the trail of blood. >> some talk too much. >> have there been fights? ed: he told police he came to get his laptop. maria: three people are under

police swarmed a shopping center in burlington this afternoon after the men tried to pass off fake cash. newscenter 5's mary saladna is live in burlington with the investigation. mary: we're live at police headquarters. police are still booking three of the four suspects accused of trying to pay with a phony $100 bill at the bed bath & beyond. the men fled on foot when that time police cornered them. three of them were arrested. one of them did get away. sky 5 was overhead. police tell me the fourth suspect is still at large. they have issued a reverse 911 to alert them of that.

more money to test unsafe lead levels in school water after about half the schools tested so far have show unsafe lead levels. the commonwealth started the testing last spring after news of the water crisis in flint, michigan. so far, about $2 million has been spent to test 450 schools. the commissioner of the mass department of environmental protection tells newscenter 5 his department needs another $750,000 to test nearly 400 more schools. maria: story. bob weeks, known for those amazing lobster rolls. he was sick and needed a new kidney. a lot of you reached out and got tested. something he is grateful for, but someone close to bob who ended up saving his life. >> there is so much in this moment.
