street with r down syndrome son? do: the boy heldis mother in his arms. there are surveillance cameras in the area. it is unclear whether or not they captured the attack. live in loyel, doug meehan, newscenter 5. emily:hank you. breaking news, police officers targeted in three stas. one officer killed. the eyeopener's erika taranl is tracking overnight developments. erika. erika: we're talking about four glparate incidents now in stone, missouri. a police off a suspect is dead, details on that just coming in. and meanted the suspect who ambushed a police officer in that city has been killed in a shootout. the officer was shot twice in the face just sitting in his cruiser. he is expected to survive. and also breaking, a suspect is in custody after an officer was shot in sanibel, florida. this happened during a traffic stop on sunday. the suspect took off from the scene but was arrested a short time later. thefficer expected to be ok.

pictures back there but a lot of snow out there on the decks. and many areas reporting that light coating. the temperature, the issue because it's only 27 in worcester. 31 in boston. 30 in beverly, and even just a little coating of snow herend ther can make things slippery this morning. the storm is sitting to the north side right now, and the moisture is gone, we're seeing the lakeffect across new york state. but the wind is going to be a big problem for us today because itill be gusting to 20 to 30 to 4 that's enough to do some damage sohere is a wind advisory up for that reason. you can see the gusts already active this morning. that is knocking back the windis for is a feels like or wind chill temperature, that is only 15 right now in worcester. elsewhere, it's at or around 20 degrees, and those wind chills are going to hold in the 20s all day long, so a break for sunshine. the flurries are winding down this morning month, and i a brighter day with the temperatures in the 30s to around 40, but it will feel much colder with the wnd, and you can see on the future cast, the
