randy: 4:30 on friday, december 2. good morning, i'm randy price. antoinette: i'm antoinette antonio in for emily this morning. rob gronkowski getting ready for surgery. randy: boston police are investigating an overnight shooting. the new information from that scene. antoinettea from the family of a missing teenager. randy: good morning, kelly ann. kelly ann in for cindy this morning. kelly ann: and it's looking a lot better this morning, good news compared to yesterday. we saw showers in place. now we're trying doubt. it's all about those winds still as we're seeing winds occasionally gusting up near 20 miles an hour. right now the strongest wind out of worcester at 16 miles per hour really making those temperatures as you're heading out the door right now still quite a bit chillier.

but the wind-chill factor is bringing us down into the 20's. along the coastline, feeling like it's in the 30's. 31 degrees in plymouth. out for worcester and western locations of massachusetts, it's feeling like the mid to upper 20's. right now it's dry and clear overhead for much of our region. any chance of showers well off to the east and west. we'll have westerly winds keep us dry throughout the forecast today. sunshine prevails. those temperatures struggle to really warm the upper 40's as we head into the height of the afternoon. with those winds gusting up to near 2 miles per hour, that means it's going to feel like it's in the 30's. so here's a look at what's going on with our roadways with olessa. olessa: good morning, kelly ann. so far the right not bad. a live look at the pike, a check by alston-brighton, eastbound at the top of the screen. let's go to the maps and check the rest of your ride. traveling across the zakim

heading out the door right now. temperatures down into the 30's for most spots. downtown boston, we're hoegd onto that 40 degrees. i have a feeling we will drop a degree or two towards sunrise. worcester at 35. low to mid 30's in the western locations of massachusetts. with those winds in place, it is feeling quite a bit cooler. wind chills down into the 20's. luckily, we're not tracking much overhead. lee -- as we lookhr much of our. we're seeing a storm system producing snow flurries, lake-effect snow and showers in new york. even though it's trying to push eastward into our area, we have mountains helping to block it. the berkshires could see a flurry or two for today, but east of that we're staying dry.

high temperatures this afternoon will try to reach toward 50 along the coastline. even down toward the cape as well. as we move westward, inland locations in the 40's, 43 in worcester, even colder because of that wind in place. winds are picking up already for this morning. we're seeing occasional gusts up to 15 to 20 miles an hour as you're heading out right now. heading into the aften, the atmosphere. that's why we're looking to see occasional gusts up to near 25 miles an hour in the height of the afternoon. those winds being sustained at 16 miles per hour. so that's going to make those near 50-degree high temperatures feel quite a bit cooler as we take a look at our wind chill forecast. we move into this morning, so right around sunrise, notice where we see the coldest of temperatures with wind chills degrees in boston.ester, 32

couple of more layers. right now we're holding strong in boston at 40 degrees. don't be surprised as we move to the next hour, we'll likely drop into the 30's. worcester at 34 degrees. orange at a very chilly 32. this is thing. those winds are just gusty enough that we are feeling a bit of a wind chill out there. and so as you're heading out, that wind-chill factor is down into the lower0' for worcester and the 30's as we move along the coastline right now. it is nice and clear overhead with our radar at this point, but as we move through the we do start to see, although it is clear for eastern locations, some clouds moving into our west. so that's something we'll be tracking through much of new york and barely moving into the berkshires and eventually by later today, those temperatures start to cool. some of those clouds could spit out a flurry or two into the berkshires. that's something we'll be watching le tonight. all of us east of the berkshires staying dry. overall, relatively nice ending to our work week. high temperatures managed to
