temperatures struggle. we're sitting just about 50 in boston this afternoon. 50 in hyannis. as we move into inland locations, a few 40's expected, worcester at 44 degrees even as we head out toward orange, 46 degrees with a high temperature this afternoon. as we take a look at our futurecast, dry conditions condition, but notice how those clouds gather as we move into our western massachusetts locations. eventually, some of those clouds produce a sprinkle or two, and even some for the berkshire mountains. that is going to fade overnight and we are drying out. big, these cool temperatures we're seeing toward alaska and canada, when will that approach here? we are starting to see an arctic blast as we head into next week. it starts to move into the western portion of the country and eventually that will approach oureg toward the end of next week. seven-day forecast includes sunshine breaking out for today.

three masked men stunned michael acciavatti with a taser. he was able to free himself and called police. those men got away with gold coins from the home. it's unclear whether they may have been familiar with the victim or property. a former student at proctor academy in andover, new hampshire, has been indicted on sexual assault ch girl was attacked in her dorm room at the school. according to proctor officials, the defendant in the case, derek tillotson, left school the same day as the assault. randy: rachelle bond is accused of disposing her daughter's body after a boyfriend killed the

westerly wind that's going to influence us, keeping us dry here locally, but also keeping some flurry action through much of upstate new york as we move into the forecast ahead today and tomorrow. temperatures heading out the door right now are mainly in the 30's. 34 in worcester. springfield at 31. downtown boston holding onto that 40 degrees, but it's all about that wind-chill factor, which right now is down into the 20's and 30's. feeling like 27 in worcester. feeling like 32 in boston. and even onto the mid 30's. heading into the height of the afternoon, temperatures will manage to inch toward 50 degrees. but the wind chills are basically what it feels like, it's still in the 40's even along the coastline. but boston seeing a wind chill in the height of the afternoon of only 42 degrees. and some colder air rushes into the region as we head into tomorrow morning as we see wind chills down into the low to mid 20's. futurecast looking dry through the forecast today. but what we're watching are a few clouds moving into our
