we have all of the mirrors covered in the house. i didn't want her to see herself. when she did, she started crying. she said, "i look like a monster". she tries to brush it off but i know it bothers her. not only has ania had to deal with this, prior to this, she lost her dad to stage 4 cancer. in two weeks it was like a tragedy after a tragedy for her. so much has been taken from her at such a young through this much in a lifetime, little alone in 10 years of living. she's so -- i am so proud that she's handling what she's been through so well. >> angela and carla join us. and ania, is here with us today. and ania, come on out and join us!

can i get versus doing another operation on a 10-year-old. i will have to give it some thought. ? ? >> dr. travis: so, dr. "o", first of all, thank you for seeing aniah. >> my pleasure. it was a pleasure of course to see aniah. and travis, you have seen the dog bite-type injuries in the emergency room. when there's an injury like that on the face, it's not just soft tissue. it's not just , in the skin. it's what -- the key structures thab -- that are below the skin. with an injury to the facial nerve. there was through and through juris in the mouth and in the nose, as well, which has affected the function. and the inside of the nose from the way it healed is pretty obstructed. >> dr. travis: is it harder to breathe and things like that? >> sometimes when a snore, it catches my breath, and i can't really breathethatch.
