winter weather conditions have also led to the ?cancellation of hundreds of flights? in portland and seattle. 3 new this morning... a man is seriously hurt after an overnight shooting in milwaukee. it happened around 11 last night... near north 26th and west galena streets. police say a 44-year-old man has several gunshot wounds.he was taken to the hospital for treatment.the shooting is under investigation. 30 years in prison for the last of the men convicted in the shooting death of 5-year-old laylah peterson lawyers agree that say arlis gordon was the man who hatched a 20-14 revenge plan... which ended up with 12 to 14 bullets in the wrong house.one of those bullets killed the girl as she sat on her gradfather's lap.gordon apologized in court... but petersen's father didn't believe him. 45-59"i would like to give my condolences to the family and friends of laylah petersen." 1:10-1:16"and they say he has remorse... he doesn't have remorse... he has remorse for being caught... not for what he did." did." 3

the manhunt for a suspected cop killer is over in georgia. georgia.police found suspect ?minguell lembrick? dead inside a home -- after a long search.they say it appears he shot himself. 25-year-old georgia police officer nicholas smarr was killed while answering a call about a domestic dispute at an apartment complex on wednesday. the other officer- jody smith- who works for southwestern state universitywa a judge ?denies? the defense's motion for a mistrial... during the second day of the ?charleston church shooter? cas. case.lawyers for dylann roof ?unsuccessfully argued?... that a witness's remarks saying the 22-year-old was "evil" and belonged in a "pit of hell" suggested a sentence. the judge told jurors... any decision on guilt or a sentence... is up to ?them?--- not the attorneys or witnesses in the case.roof admitted to killing ?nine black parishioners? at a bible study last year. he faces 33 federal counts--- including hate crime
