call it the calm ?after? the storm. this is a live picture over glendale. southeastern wisconsin has spent the last 12-hours or so digging out after a weekend storm that dropped several inches of snow. good afternoon. the thing about winter weather around here is two acts. 3 we've been through act one....the snow, which slowed everybody down for much of sunday. then, when the snow stops, temperatures usually plunge to dangerously low readings. and sure enough, that's about to happen. let's get right over to meteorologist rebecca schuld with your first look at ready

later pronounced dead at a hospital. we're waiting for an official cause of death . the man's name has not yet been rel. released. 3 some milwaukeeans got their cars towed during the snowstorm. cbs 58's julie parise joins us live from a tow lot on the south side with the story....julie? here at bardo towing off w lincoln ave they did upwards of 350 tow jobs this weekend...and counting. workers here tell me when the forecast calls for get excited.they work 24/7 with almost no sleep, but it means big profits for them.one tow driver here told me that business started picking up friday -- before the snow even came, because of a lot calls for dead car batteries.then once the snow started falling, calls picked up because of accidents along the interstate. while a lot of us in wisconsin could do without the winter weather, for tow truck drivers, this is a great time of year.

street. the driver, identified as 51-year old joann quesada of west allis was at first unresponsive, but breathing. she was later taken to froedtert hospital, treated, released and jailed for dui and recklessly endangering safety. she told authorities she was out doing karaoke before the crash. crash. cold weather can sometimes lead to fires, just because of the way people try to keep their homes warm. warm. waukesha county courthouse with the latest kyle? 3 it's official both morgan geyser and anissa weier will be tried seperatly. this morning morgan gesyer and her attorney's were in court.a competency report was received by the court and was sealed with the stipulation that the defendants would be tried separately.as part of this morning's hearing, we heard from former waukesha county sheriff deputy paul rinkas. he arrested geyser aft her and wier at the edge of a forestline back in 2014.rinkas said he read geyser her miranda rights...and she agreed to it. that geyser told him that she was forced to kill her best friend and made references to slenderman. rinkas said he had never heard of slenderman before that.we also heard testimony from an officer from the waukesha police department who questioned geyser after her arrest.and it was theirst time has well heard of slenderman. both geyser and weier have pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect and will be tried as

geyser will be back in court on february 13 for an oral hearing.anissa weier is expected to be in court on december 22. milwaukee police are looking for some fast-moving criminals...and they hope you can help. help.they've released these surveillance photos from last tuesday. they show three suspects accused of stealing from the family llarstore at 90th and appleton avenue. they're also wanted for a theft at the walgreens ast strong-armed robbery at a store on 102nd and silver spring. all three incidents took place within a half hour's time last tuesday. tuesday.if you recognize any of these suspects, please call the district four police station at 414-935-7241. the playoff buzz is back in packerland.fan excitement is running high after a 'signature win' at lambeau fiel.

gunman opened fire at the pulse nightclub in orlando, florida. this morning at two minutes after two, a large crowd gathered to honor the 49- people who died in that massacre. 53-others were wounded. the crowd today observed a moment of silence. the gunman, omar mateen, was shot and killed by police. this pre-dawn gathering was for people directly connected to the shooting. a more public event is coming up later today. the wisconsin elections co wisconsin counties have finished recounting presidential votes. 4 counties, including milwaukee, are in the process of certifying those results. today's the deadline for getting that done. 3 trump will be in west allis tomorrow. his appearance scheduled for state fair park, is part of his 'thank you tour.' in new york , the president-elect criticized the c-i-a report which claims that russia tried to interfere with the u-s presidential election to help trump win. 3
