now to a ?developing? story- -- the body of a "lakeland university student" has been found in a pond at the edge of campus.18-year-old "kaelin oneal" went missing on sunday. sunday.he went to lakeland... to play football.the team had become "family."when dive teams broke the ice on the pond--- team members held their breath.we talked with some of his teammates.they say.... they cant believe he's gone. 10:41"it's real hard it's still unbelievable i still can't even swallow it"14:51 "man he's g so much. this one is a hard one. this one is hard. it feel like we actually lost a brother" brother." the team hopes to be able to travel to north carolina, for o'neal's funeral.police say... they dont think there's anything suspicious about his death. 3 the milwaukee county board of supervisors is asking sheriff david clarke to testify about the deaths that happened at the county jail. julie parise is live in the newsroom...with more on how the board is considering an outside

problems at the jail. today at a special called meeting, county board supervisors will talk about creating a policy for external investigations of the in-custody deaths at the milwaukee county jail. jail officers are not subject to the same law that sheriff's deputies are when it comes to investigating deaths -- they are under the command of the sheriff. whether or not sheriff clarke shows up to testify today is yet to be seen. but three state lawmakers want to put pressure on governor scott senator chris larsen and assembly members christine snicki and johnathan brostoff say there's a lack of supervision in the jail, which they believe leads to improper intake screening for substance abuse and mental illness.they say that's what's contributed to 4 deaths in the jail this year. 4:37:21-33we've seen no repurcussions for what's happened... we've seen no answers happening and in some cases these deaths have been ruled homicides, and yet there is no investigation

sheriff clarke responded to the call for his resignation by attacking those lawmakers. the statement he sent cbs 58 news includes specific accusations of unrelated criminal activity against 2 of the 3 lawmakers. we're checking for accuracy before we put clarke's statement on the air. the man charged in a 19-82 murder case.. is expected to be in court today for an evidentiary hearing.that will decide if there's eno evidence to require a trial. prosecutors say 50-year-old jose ferreira killed 13- year-old carrie ann jopek after she rejected his romantic advances. they say he had sex with her after she died.... then buried her under a porch.that's where her body was found more than a year later. ferreira was arrested last year after his wife said he confessed the crime to her. a doctor's report has been submitted... and ferreira has been ordered "fit" to stand trial.. for second degree murder. a beauty shop worker ?pepper sprayed?... and ?attacked with a broom? in milwaukee.

and two women robbed the 'cosmo beauty supply' on capitol between 60-th and fond du lac.it happened last tuesday.the worker confronted one of them for ?shoplifting.? that's when she was pepper sprayed... and hit with shovels as the three made their getaway.investigators think this group robbed another "cosmo beauty supply" at lisbon and north. 3 a beauty school instructor is in hot water... charged with sexually assaulting one of his students.jose martinez, the third -- pleaded not guilty in was an instructor at the vici beauty school in glendale-- when a student says he made unwanted sexual advances toward her.the defendant's attorney calls the claims baseless... 3 3 "it's still very early. we still don't have all of the facts in front of us. we'll be learning more as we get the police reports." reports." beauty school officials suspended martinez as soon as they heard the allegations... martinez later resigned.he's out of custody on a one- thousand dollar signature bond and is due back in court next month.

there are people who have to work in the cold weather. case and point... a group of bicycle delivery people in milw. milwaukee. they work for forward courier milwaukee... which delivers food and other things to different parts of milwaukee...no matter the weather. we caught up with a group of five bicycle couriers who, in this cold, dress in layers to stay warm. as tough as it is working when the wind chill is below zero, they admit it's a fun job that has some difficulties.
