see no reason for the legislature to defend a court ruling. congresswoman corrine brown filed a lawsuit, saying the new map takes a large portion of african-american voters out of her district. residents in flint, michigan could soon receive a $30 million credit to help pay for water bills. michigan' s governor will discuss the proposal with city officials today. the money would cover utility bills for water used to drink, cook and bathe with. lawmakers will discuss it next week when the governor presents his annual budget proposal. michelle: this morning, residents in alabama are cleaning up after this massive tornado touched down in the western part of the state. the twister took out trees and power lines about 45 miles west of tuscaloosa yesterday. only minor injuries were reported. the same storm system that caused that tornado is creating blizzard conditions in minnesota. the department of transportation has issued a no travel advisory for the southwestern part of these the national weather

jazmin: this was announced by the city of orlando yesterday. the city will commit $75 million to ucf' s downtown campus. included in that incentives package, the cost of transferring land to the school, $20 million. and the cost of the building where students will attend class, $22.5 million. the rest will cover construction and the lease for the parking garage. the school wants to open the campus by fall of 2018 for both ucf and valencia college students as part of the creative village project downtown. we will have to wait until next city commissioners will vote on monday. s board of governors. michelle: covering orange about the panic among maitland middle school parents. they tell wesh 2 they have heard activity. last night, more than a hundred people showed up to the pta

over the st. john' s winter bridge, the congestion is building but not too bad. lake mary to lee will cost you an extra five minutes. you can see it is not just the morning congestion, but the curiosity of the crash as well. thank you. we are taking a look at those wednesday morning beginning with an overnighting -- overnight shooting in orlando. shot and apartment complex off of conway road. both victims were rushed to the hospital. we are asking for lee -- we are asking police for an update on their condition. jason: two burglars -- burglars hit two cell phone stores. six or seven people used a brick to bust in and take iphones. michelle: maitland middle school parents are can planing about -- are complaining about lack of communication between officials and parents.
