immediately, i was like, oh -- they were like, rolling. >> then you cuddled up with judd. >> you and judd -- >> oh, yeah. this was -- lena was snuggling with judd and i was the only person next to the bed. i thought, this is weirder if i don't. biggest spoon there. >> it's pretty weird there. >> yeah. you think that's the cool part, then it was real awkward before. >> wow. >> also in "carol" this year. it's been a crazy good year for you. nominated for oscars and everything else. to me, that's a whole other dimension for your career. we talked a about the you being the good guy boyfriend, but is that another step forward for you? >> yeah. i was honored to be a part of it. have infinite respect for todd and the movie that they created. i don't know, i couldn't be more honored and grateful to be a part of it.

career, it seems like, in the last two years. how hard has it taken you to get to this point? >> i feel like i'm the luckiest kid in the world. there are actors out there who have to have the terrible jobs that i had for much longer than i had to have them. >> what's the worst job you had? >> i once answered an ad off craig's list to be a background actor in a essentially student film. promised $100. i sat in a folding chair for 12 hours and, at the end, was like, can i -- the money here? a crew guy like pulled out his wallet and gave me $15. that's it. i was like, okay. >> it's worked out okay. >> yeah, that was step one. >> step one to being an actor. >> we'll get you a weapon for the next movie. great to meet you. >> thank you.
