announcer: local, live, late-breaking. this is wesh 2 news sunrise in high definition. jason: right now, we are following breaking news. a breaker -- biker brawl turns into a deadly shooting outside a another teenager is facing murder charges this week. friends and neighbors are remembering a 15-year-old from apopka. we will get to your top stories this sunday. let' s begin with the forecast. you need to prepare for some rain, grabbed the umbrella. let' s get over to dave cocchiarella.

beach, some light rain. let' s take a look at the conditions in daytona beach. there is rain falling at this hour. plenty of cloud cover and up and down the peninsula, we are seeing sprinkles. 67 in leesburg, 66-67 in the melbourne area. from ocala into sumter county along i 75, leesburg up until paisley, northern parts of lake i-4, stretching back into the orlando area, plenty of sprinkles around central florida. eventually, skies will begin to break. more rain in the forecast later this afternoon. things will clear this evening and overnight, much cooler than it was. jason: thank you dave. let' s get back to that breaking

one person is dead, two others were hurt. it happened outside the diamond club. gunshots were fired in the parking lot around 12:30 this morning. there was a fight between as many as three motorcycle groups. one of the survivors is in critical condition, the other is stable. in orange county, we are talking about a teenage suspect going before the suspect -- before a judge on charges of murdering destiny bargman of apopka. her body was found on sheeler hills drive. friends and neighbors were gathering outside in total disbelief. >> i was really upset. i am still in shock. she was smart, funny, very intelligent.

jason: charge against that teen is second-degree murder. we will bring more to you on wesh 2 news tonight at 6:00. the oak only 17 year old accused of killing antwan davis is staying at a juvenile detention center. michael anderson could go on trial as an adult. >> a teenager who deputies say gunned down another boy faces a second-degree murder charge for the first time. killed antwan davis last week. anderson' s girlfriend, lindsay accessory after the fact. anderson'

judge warned him it is likely he will be tried as an adult in the case and he could spend his life in prison if convict did. anderson was trying to felt -- sell the victim drugs. he was found lying beside lakewood avenue in ocoee. >> a memorial sits beside the sidewalk where the shooting took place. the victims family spent the justice. >> he was a child. >> investigators tell wesh 2 news the boys knew each other well and anderson did show summary moore' s. he will spend -- some remorse. he will be prosecuted as a juvenile or an adult. jason: orlando police have identified the man killed in a saturday morning shooting. joshua bell died of his injuries

he was shot off -- at the palm beach apartments. they found a possible suspect' s investigators are still tracking down the suspect. man just moments after he was arrested. torrey robinson broke into a home on saturday. robinson fought deputies, so they used a stun gun on him. he passed out and died at the hospital. new information about saturday' s suicide bombing in turkey. two dual american israeli citizens were killed. israeli media reports one was a mother of four. 20 others were hurt. this was turkey' s sixth suicide bombing in the past year. a french prosecutor now says

dishing -- ditching his suicide vest the night of the paris terror attacks. he had planned to be a suicide bomber but backed out. he was captured during a raid two days ago in belgium. france is trying to speed up his extradition. right now, a royal caribbean ship is on the way back to tampa after dropping off cuban migrants in mexico. the ship' s crew saved those migrants off the coast of marco island in south florida. nine died, 18 others were safe this morning. president obama becomes the first sitting president to visit cuba in almost 90 years. he will board a plane for havana and meet with u.s. embassy personnel. the first family will go on a walking tour of old have been up. they will catch a tampa bay rays

>> local, live, late-breaking. this is wesh 2 news sunrise in high definition. jason: breaking news on sunrise. an orange county strip club is now the scene of a deadly crime. what happened there, and why you' ve likely heard of it before. >> i' m still in shock. i can' t believe it happened. i' m really upset. jason: murder charges for a teenager, accused of killing an apopka 15-year-old. what' s in store for that suspect today. it is sunday morning. good morning. thanks for joining us on wesh 2 news sunrise. it is your first day of spring. let' s get over to meteorologist dave cocchiarella. dave: rain right now across the northern parts of the forecast area. let' s take a look at volusia

just to the south, in edgewater and new smyrna, we are seeing some sprinkles at this time. everybody is in the middle to upper 60' s at this time. there is the rain, streaking across the peninsula at this time. some spots may see as much as a quarter of an inch of rain. i want to start here, along 75. north of the villages, up into eastlake, we are seeing the heaviest rain at this time. then, it will slide off to the east. paisley, we are also seeing the rain there. and new smyrna had some heavier showers just a few minutes ago. it has now mainly moved offshore. we will get into the middle to upper 70' s today we' re highs. we will have wet weather throughout the day. jason: breaking news in orange county.

others hurt in a shooting outside a strip club. deputies rushed to the diamond club, on semoran boulevard, around 12:40 a.m. they say there was a brawl between as many as three biker groups, then someone fired a gun. one of the survivors is in critical condition. the other is stable. the diamond club is no stranger to gunfire. almost exactly two months ago, gabriel garcia nazario told deputies, he was shot near the parking lot. he was rushed to the hospital and later died. no word on whether detectives ever caught his killer. and back in july, two gunmen opened fire inside the club. while no one was hit initially, deputies say they continued shooting and grazed a woman in the parking lot. several cars were also shot up. check the wesh 2 mobile app throughout the day for updates, as we follow up with deputies on this latest shooting. for the second day in a row, we' ll be in juvenile court to hear what happens to a teenage murder suspect. a 16-year-old is accused of killing 15-year-old destiny

her body was found inside a home on sheeler hills drive. wesh 2' s matt grant spoke with stunned friends and neighbors. matt: this is the house where the deadly shooting happened. the victim' s friend and classmate say they are in complete shock. >> i saw them outside the house, and i hoped it would not be destiny. 14-year-old shiloh patterson can' t get over seeing her friend and neighbor' s lifeless body. >> i am still in shock. i cannot believe it happened. she was smart, funny, very intelligent. she was an all-around amazing person. matt: the joint homicide task force says, 15-year-old destiny bargman was shot to death inside this home on sheeler hills drive in apopka, where a bicycle sits outside. investigators have charged a 16-year-old with second degree murder, accusing that person of shooting and killing destiny. officials have not named the suspect, and the motive is unknown.

grader at wekiva high school. >> she was an all-around amazing person. she did not deserve any of this. matt: around 12:40 saturday, apopka police received multiple 911 calls, reporting a shooting. shiloh says, she still can' t believe her friend is gone. >> she would never do anything to hurt anybody. it is crazy, shocking. i did not want it to be her. matt: authorities say they are not looking into any additional suspects. the investigation is still ongoing. in apopka, matt grant, wesh 2 news. jason: the 17-year-old, accused of shooting and killing 15-year-old antwan davis, will spend the next few weeks in juvenile detention. michael anderson was in juvenile court on saturday, one week after davis' death in ocoee. the judge warned anderson he' ll likely be tried as an adult. if convicted, he could spend life in prison. anderson' s girlfriend is out on bond. she' s accused of helping him

this morning, we' re working to get an update on the worker, critically injured by a stray bullet. the man, accused of firing that shot, told a judge he didn' t know he was charged with attempted murder. >> i was here for a domestic violence charge, not this. this charge was under investigation. i came here for domestic violence. jason: jakell ward faced a judge from jail, saturday. deputies say he pulled a gun on his girlfriend, during a fight off forest city road, on friday. and when he fired, deputies say, ward instead hit a worker, taking down a fence nearby. >> anger is part of it. i am just worried. i am scared for brian. i just want him to be ok. jason: the victim' s boss also tells wesh 2, that the shooting victim has a six-day-old baby. right now, emergency workers are sorting through the debris from that deadly fly dubai plane crash in russia. all 62 people on board were killed. family members are on their way

investigators have recovered both black boxes. surveillance video shows the plane nose diving and exploding on impact. investigators say strong winds may have played a role in the crash. several planes tried to land, but either struggled or diverted to other airports. in commitment 2016, it' s the talk of the trail. a video showing a protester punched and kicked at a donald trump rally in arizona. you can see a group of protesters, including one wearing a kkk hood being escorted out. moments later, a man pulled a protester to the ground and beat him. tuscon police arrested him. trump bashed the protester' s interruptions. donald trump: there' s a disgusting guy. put' s a ku klux klan hat on. he thinks he' s cute. he'

patrick: its been a long wait, but cuba is getting ready to welcome a u.s. president. after 50 years of isolation from america, cubans are elated that relations with the u.s. have improved to the point that an american president is visiting for the first time in 88 years. alejandro ended his studies to drive tourists in a 1950 chevrolet, earning more in an hour than he would have pulled down as an engineer in a month. he says, he hopes to soon drive more americans. >> i am only 21-years-old. i never thought a u.s. president would visit cuba. i hope that relations improve between the us and cuba. that the economic situation gets better. that' s what cuba really needs. patrick: while the u.s. economic embargo, which only congress can lift, is still in place, obama has dulled some of the sanctions' sharpest teeth. it' s not clear how much cuba' s communist leaders will open the economy in return. already, the opening with the u.s. has changed some cubans' lives. cici and her family sing happy

we are seeing some showers down in the edgewater area right now, which will move into new smyrna beach. that is kind of the forecast today, with this funne l boundary making its way south into the peninsula. it will stay cloudy and wet. the wind will turn to the north and northwest, bringing in a dryer air mass. it will be rather cold for us on tuesday morning. we do have a lot of sunshine in the forecast for monday and tuesday. today, we will see temperatures in the middle to upper 70' s. plenty of wet weather in the forecast. if you are heading out today, expect wet and even muddy conditions.

critical condition. the other is stable. stay with wesh 2 for more information, as this story develops. also in orange county, for the second day in a row, we' re talking about a teenage suspect, going before a judge on charges of murdering a 15-year-old. this suspect is accused of killing destiny bargman of apopka. her body was found inside a home on sheeler hills drive, saturday afternoon. the joint homicide task force spent the day there, collecting evidence. friends and neighbors gathered outside in total disbelief. >> i was really upset. i' m still in shock. i can' i' m really upset. she was smart. she was funny, very intelligent. she was just an all around amazing person. jason: investigators are not naming the 16-year-old suspect, but they do say the charge against that teen is second-degree murder. we will be in juvenile court this morning for a detention hearing, and we will bring that to you on wesh 2 news tonight, at 6:00 p.m. the ocoee 17-year-old, accused of killing antwan davis, is

center for another few weeks. michael anderson was in court saturday. as wesh 2' s matt lupoli discovered, he could go on trial as an adult. matt: a teenager who deputies say gunned down a boy, who lives in his neighborhood, faces a judge on a second-degree murder charge. deputies say michael anderson shot and killed 15-year-old antwan davis last weekend. anderson' s reported girlfriend, lindsey shirley, is charged as an accessory after the fact. deputies say she tampered with evidence. >> how old are you? >> 17. matt: anderson' s father stood by his son' s side in juvenile court, as a judge warned him it' s likely he will be tried as an adult. he could spend his life in prison, if convicted. deputies say anderson was trying to sell the victim drug'

drugs, before shooting the boy in the head. he was found lying beside lakewood avenue in ocoee. his family spent the week pleading for answers and for justice. >> he was a child. you had no business taking him from us. matt: investigators also tell wesh 2, the boys knew each other well, and that anderson did show some remorse. now, he' ll spend the next few weeks in a detention center, awaiting another hearing and a decision on whether he' ll be prosecuted as an adult. jason: orlando police have identified the man killed in a saturday morning shooting. joshua bell died from his injuries hours later at ormc. he was shot at the palm grove apartments, off w.d. judge drive. police say bell was targeted, and they' ve found a possible suspect' s car. investigators are still tracking down the suspect. now to pasco county, where the sheriff is investigating the death of a man, just moments after he was arrested. investigators say torrey

saturday, and got into a fight with someone inside. when deputies arrived, they say robinson fought them, so they used a stun gun on him. he then passed out and died at the hospital. new information into our newsroom overnight about saturday' s suicide bombing in turkey. the white house confirms two dual american-israeli citizens were killed. israeli media reports one of them was a mother of four. a total of five people died in the blast on a busy istanbul street. 20 others were hurt. this was turkey' s sixth suicide bombing in just the past year. so far, no group has claimed responsibility. a french prosecutor now says salah abdelsalam admitted to ditching his suicide bombing vest the night of the paris terror attacks. he allegedly told investigators he had planned to be a suicide , bomber at the stadium, but backed out at the last minute. abdelsalam was captured during a raid two days ago in belgium. france is trying to speed up his

s up to afs jason: welcome back. it' s an organization that means companionship, and even life or death for some people. hundreds showed up to say hello, and sniff the new person in charge of canine companions for independence. the service matches service dogs to people with disabilities. as adrian whitsett reports, the new executive director is eager to get started. >> it' s such an amazing organization. both the animal side and the dog-training side, and the people that they touch as well. when i was looking into the organization, and saw the impact and the transformation the organization makes, it was really a natural fit, and something i was excited about being a part of. adrian: plenty of puppy eyes were trained on the new southeast region executive director, at canine companions for independence. saturday morning, bryan williams was introduced to the graduates, puppy raisers, and many others involved with the organization,

ormond beach is seeing some of the more moderate rain right now. some rain in the northern part of park county as well. where forecast today, amateurs in the 70' s. the wet weather will clear -- temperatures will get into the 70' s. the wet weather will clear this afternoon. i will tell you what that means your upcoming work week. jason: breaking news in orange county. one person killed, and two others hurt in a shooting outside a strip club. deputies rushed to the diamond club, on semoran boulevard, around 12:40 a.m. authorities tell us there was a brawl between as many as three biker groups, then someone fired a gun. one of the survivors is in critical condition. the other is stable. the diamond club is no stranger to gunfire. almost exactly two months ago, gabriel garcia nazario told deputies, he was shot near the parking lot. he was rushed to the hospital and later died.
