bags. >> sad, i started really crying. what this person did to her. i thought, what went through your mind when you did this to this poor lady. >> reporter: geleski's family and friends brought flowers to the stoop of the building. some say they worried about her relationship with who they called the can man. the two fought over money and she fired him. around lincoln place is the second floor apartment isaac shares with his brother. after he murdered galeski he returned home and set small fires outside of his pardon me. - - outside his apartment. >> he was ordered held without bail. baltimore county police identify a woman struck and killed by a light rail train.

the accident happened one week ago today. police say the victim is 66- year-old janet elizabeth penacoon. they are not said how she died only that she was hit crossing the tracks, but it was not near a light rail stop. state police arrest the fifth and final suspect in a home invasion and shooting in carol county. police say the men went into a home in tawny town and robbed the home. the victim was shot in the leg during a robbery. each of the suspects face a number of charges including assault and armed robbery. time now for a quick look at some of the stories you will find in tomorrow's edition of the baltimore sun. the mta may need to raise fare next year. the plan that will allow live racing to continue in baltimore and who will help pay for it. for all these stories and much more read tomorrow's baltimore sun.

an emotion farewell for a new york city police officer. thousands of police officers from new york, and around the nation gathered to honor peter bregoski. he was remembered as a dedicated workers. he was murdered while investigating a robbery in brooklyn. the 47-year-old was today promoted to detective first

class. more charges against the philadelphia woman accused of kidnapping and stealing their welfare check. at today's hearing, prosecutors showed disturbing photographs of four of the victims showing big dashes and wounds. her daughter, boyfriend, and friend are also chargeed in this case. a possible side effect of one form of cancer treatment. women treated for cancer treatment are radiation are more likely to have memory issues after treatment. chemotherapy may produce some effects in the area of brain this could cause impaired

cognitive loss. 64-year-old diane rigo has been taking vitamin d for 10 year. >> i take a thousand units daily. >> reporter: studies have suggested that taking vitamin d supplements have reduced fractures in older adults. new the latest review shows that vitamin d along with calcium does reduce fractures in women. >> it's controversial, it's very hard to gleam from the literature if vitamin d by itself can prevent fractures. >> reporter: vitamin d has also been praised for its role. but researchers say they still more evidence. and can cause kidney stones. doctors say vitamin d and calcium work together. >> vitamin d helps absorb calcium. calcium is critical to bone health. >> reporter: the problem is everyone absorbs vitamin d differently so it's important

well, it must have been tough to show at the ravens complex this afternoon mark. he's there with the wjz the fan sports report. >> reporter: yeah coach john harbaugh addressed the media today following that meeting with san diego. he spoke about the ravens loss of control of having home field in the play offs. they would have to win two games and hope a team ahead of them loses the game. concerned about the health of condit who missed his sixth field goal. how about the ravens defense, especially the secondary. rookie jimmy smith got extended playing time in the first round draft pick got picked apart and picked on by phillip rivers and the san diego receivers. i asked harbaugh about the
