a man of his age, he ought to know better. >> he is known as the baltimore bird man, who at every home game and community events dresses up in outlandish and colorful hats and costumes. police say these abuse allegations were reported to detective by the alleged victim last month. >> are crimes against children unit conducted a full investigation and found that the victims claims were valid, and subsequently an arrest warrant was obtained yesterday. >> that is when police say that he turned himself in, posting $750,000 bail and was released. according to charging documents, he denied sexually abusing the victim, saying, quote, personally i feel like the victim tried to seduce me. now the victim is trying to destroy me. during a separate police recorded phone call, the victim asked him, was it me? did i initiate anything we did? he answered, yes, 90% of it.

11 news spoke with the man's attorney, who would only say he and his client are looking forward to presenting the case in court. wbal-tv 11 news. >> baltimore city firefighters are trying to find out what caused a house fire in east baltimore this morning. a two-story fire in the 1300 block of east lafayette around 430 -- 4:30 this morning. no words on the estimated damages. officers are dealing with a shooting investigation. man around 2:00 thursday afternoon suffering from wounds. police believe another victim walk to the hospital for treatment. being say this man is held without bail today in connection with the double shooting in pikesville. officers say earlier this month, 20-year-old brandon approached a group of people and opened fire,

hitting two people. he faces first-degree attempted murder charges. this man is awaiting sentencing today, waiting three counts of -- charged with three counts of human trafficking. police rescued the victim during a sting operation at a hotel in april. prosecutors say he was supposed to be on house arrest for a rape charge in ohio. he was reportedly pimping out the victim to pay for his legal fees. survivors of a landslide buried half a village in mexico are trying to salvage what they can. amateur video showed the extent of the damage. army helicopters have been rescuing residents and bringing them to acapulco. around 400 people survived the landslide. tropical storm manuel and
