narrator: today on paternity court... he was messing with her, he was messing with me. right, and now she's pregnant. this might be his baby. did you have sex with me and my cousin, though? we dealing with babies. just trying to see if you their dad, okay? don't play. it might be his, because at the time that i was with my boyfriend, i was messing around with him. she left my cousin for me. so either you or your cousin, mr. goodson, is the father. yes, ma'am. ever since i had my son, he been denying him. you say, she was doing whatever. and then some other guy says "that's my son." you may be seated. hello, your honor. this the case of torry, henderson v goodson. thank you. you're welcome. miss torry and miss henderson, you have both entered the court today with cases against the defendant, mr. goodson. you have joined together because you, miss torry,
12:01 pm
claim the defendant is denying he is the father of your two kids. and miss henderson, you state mr. goodson refuses to take responsibility for your four-year-old daughter. henderson: yes, your honor. judge lake: you have both asked the court to award paternity tests and enforce his financial obligations as a father. now, mr. goodson, you claim miss torry has admitted that she cheated on you in the past, and she is also not confident that you are the children's biological father. goodson: yes. yes, your honor. judge lake: okay. additionally, you state miss henderson slept with you and your cousin in the same time frame, and therefore, you can't be sure... henderson: which was a lie. ...her daughter is yours. please, tell us about your story. my story is that i went on a chat line one day, and i met his cousin on the chat lines.
12:02 pm
judge lake: mmm-hmm. and he know that so far, when we met on the chat line, i was just looking for a friend, someone to hang out with on, you know, a regular basis, and smoke and drink. judge lake: mmm-hmm. so, one day he came... (audience laughing) ...to pick me up in a white car, a white truck. put up the music all loud and what not, or whatever. he in the back of the car, looking at me like, ooh, he wanted me or whatever. so, we went to go take some drinks or what not, listening to some music. they recording music, they rapping, and i'm singing on their songs, having fun. mmm-hmm. so, after that night was over, he dropped me back off at home. an hour later, he come calling me, like, "what's up, baby?" i'm like, "who is this?" he like, "this is chubby. you all remember doing it in the back of the car?" i'm like, "that ain't why you calling me." he like, "...i think you cute." okay, watch the language now. i know you giving it verbatim, but, you know, it is court. okay, i'm sorry. he like, "shoot, i think you cute." i'm like, "okay, that's what's up," and then we just got to talking. the next thing i know, he like, "shoot, baby, can i come see you?"
12:03 pm
i'm like, "yeah, you can come see me. what's up?" so he came to see me in a stolo, which they call, down in saint louis, is a stolen car. so he come picks me up in a stolo. oh. and i'm getting dressed or whatnot, and i'm looking out the window, and he like, "yeah, boo, i'm outside." next thing i know, here come the police lights. "freeze! get out of the car!" henderson: i'm like, "really? you came to pick me up in a stolen car?" what? henderson: really great. i don't know nothing about that. judge lake: wait a minute. judge lake: you don't know nothing about it? i don't know nothing... i believe it 'cause one day his mama said he stole her car to come and see me. goodson: oh... (laughs) okay, this is, uh... (audience laughing) i can't believe you sitting up here talking about he came to pick you up in a stolen car. that's what he came to pick me up in. i didn't ask him what he was going to pick me up in, but he came to pick me up in a stolen car. i'm about to go out the door to go get in it, like a dummy. that's cause she wanted to get away from my cousin, so i had to go... why would you talk to her if you know your cousin was talking to her? 'cause he don't care. no, because she left my cousin for me.
12:04 pm
judge lake: so... torry: what you calling her? judge lake: listen. i want to get past the stolen car. i want to move forward because obviously, this relationship heated up from, "that's what's up," "yeah, whatever," "yeah, so..." whatever. whatever's going on. we was young, dumb. judge lake: so, it heated up, you all became involved sexually. sexually. after he got out of jail for stealing the car, he called me. he called me, like, "can i come see you?" or what not. and i'm like, "yeah." he came to see me again, but this time it with his caucasian homeboy and his son. and so, i hopped in the van with them, we went to their house. did you check the registration? no. (laughs) i didn't check the registration. (laughter) so, we went to go kick it or what not, and we all got drunk, again, and smoked, again. and that was the first time we first had sex. after that, we was having sex for a year, unprotectively. did you have sex with me and my cousin, though?
12:05 pm
no, i never had sex with your cousin. unprotected sex. okay. unprotected sex, for a year, before we broke up. when we broke up... the only reason we broke up was because he called me on the phone, saying he'd been getting some sex from some other female. he called to tell you? henderson: he called to tell me. i'm like, "really?" like i'm supposed to just sit here and listen to it. did you call her to tell her this? no, your honor, i didn't even know me and her was supposed to be together, you know what i'm saying? judge lake: oh, you thought you all was just kicking it... i thought, yeah... henderson: you were having unprotected sex with me. hoping that i don't get pregnant, for a year. goodson: excuse me, your honor. i just feel like, you know, say, at the time, she's a little bit older than me, whatever, so i liked that she was older, and she was... and you lied about my age, first of all. listen, i never lied about her age. oh, my god. but like i was saying, she had a little bit of money, i didn't have no money. i couldn't work at the time. i was a little bit younger. so you know what i'm saying? the money what kind of got me into liking her, and well... that's all? that's all it is
12:06 pm
between me and her. goodson: i really kind of wanted the money and a little bit of... you know what i'm saying. you know? so, what i'm still trying to understand is, even if you didn't think you were in a committed relationship, what woman... you know, you're sleeping with this woman, you're in some type of sexual relationship. wants to get a call from you saying that you're having sex with somebody else? torry: i mean, he did me the same way. goodson: she never got a call. you never made that call? no, ma'am. judge lake: okay. so he's saying that's a lie. henderson: he don't remember what happened. from time to time, i mean, i have done that with... all right. so, miss henderson, you're pregnant. and you say to yourself, what? i'm pregnant, then it might be his, because at the time that i was with my boyfriend, i was messing around with him. key word, boyfriend. i wasn't even around. you was around, you always around. you just was over at my house last month. so, mr. goodson, do you believe you're the father of this child? i mean, it possibly can be.
12:07 pm
but your statement of the court says it could also be your cousin. goodson: yes. yes. judge lake: i'm almost afraid to ask, but the boyfriend is not the cousin? no. judge lake: okay. let's bring your cousin in, mr. thomas. jerome, if you could go get mr. thomas, please. sure. henderson: he was messing with her, he was messing with me. right, and now she's pregnant. this might be his baby. either you or your cousin is the father? yes, ma'am. she ain't gonna cheat, like she ain't gonna mess around with somebody. have sex with someone... yeah, have sex with someone... and then some other guy says, "that's my son." judge lake: it has been determined, mr. goodson, you... so the kids are here. what are you gonna do? you gonna step up to the plate? and get it right? for the kids?
12:10 pm
(narrator reading) narrator: if so, call toll free... (reading) did you have sex with me and my cousin, though? i'm pregnant, then it might be his, because at the time that i was with my boyfriend, i was messing around with him. key word, boyfriend. it could also be your cousin. yes. yes. i'm almost afraid to ask, but the boyfriend is not the cousin? no. come on in, sir. thank you for joining us, mr. thomas. how you doing? now, mr. thomas, we need to understand, what was your relationship with miss henderson? it was just like a friendship, one-night thing, you know how it be. some nights. henderson: oh, my god. judge lake: i'm gonna need you to repeat that. thomas: i just said... a little louder. like a one-night thing, you know how it might be some nights. you might get drunk, be with somebody. might turn you on, it just happens. right, and it was i turning you on.
12:11 pm
judge lake: okay, so it was a one-night stand. yes. judge lake: so, either you or your cousin, mr. goodson, is the father. yes, ma'am. judge lake: thank you so much, mr. thomas. you may have a seat. miss torry, let me go to your story. basically, me and charles have been talking for some years now. i met him through my cousin, cause she was dating one of his people. and he said he was looking for somebody to talk to. and basically, i was in a locked-up facility where i could only come out on weekends. and we end up having sex during the weekend. and ever since i had my son, he been denying him. judge lake: mr. goodson, just tell the court... what is going on? well, me and andrea... i liked andrea very much, but i felt like she lied too much. she lied... i don't lie. she'd tell me something, but she didn't tell me 'til six months later, or whatever. but then six months later, it's in the past or whatever, so... okay, wait. back it up. or whatever. what is whatever? give me specifics. i mean, she'd go cheat, like, she'd go mess around with somebody...
12:12 pm
judge lake: have sex with someone. yeah, have sex with someone, and then she... judge lake: oh, is that what "whatever" is? yes. oh, okay. okay. okay, now i get it. whatever. he's lying. always lying. judge lake: continue. basically, she'd call guys in my face, or whatever, and i used to call girls in her face, like, to make her just mad, or whatever. so one day i called, i got on her phone one day and i called this dude on her phone. at the end, a dude answered the phone. he was, like... we exchanged some words with each other. and then he was, like, "yeah, this is my son..." that's why i said... "yeah, this is my son." judge lake: okay, watch your language. i'm sorry. he like, "yeah, this is my son," so... that what really kind of made me wonder about her... judge lake: so, you were in a relationship. yes, your honor. and you say she was doing whatever, which means cheating, and then some other guy... ...gets on the phone and says "that's my son."
12:13 pm
yes, your honor. torry: he did that to make him mad. judge lake: so, this was all a part of game you were playing, miss torry. right, but i didn't know that he was going to say that. but i also asked her for a dna test when we left the hospital. he ain't never signed the papers, so what you talking about? did anybody? no. those children deserve to have that empty space filled. i know that, 'cause i had the same thing growing up with my own father. so i know how it feels. and knowing how it feels, you understand the importance of today, and being in this courtroom, right? yes, ma'am. you have two kids that you claim he's not taking care of. torry: right. when he was messing with her, he was messing with me. right, and now she's pregnant. this might be his baby. i don't know nothing about that, your honor. we don't want the babies. just trying to see if you their dad, okay? don't play. judge lake: it's been determined, mr. goodson, you... so the kids are here. what are you gonna do? you gonna step up to the plate? and get it right? for the kids?
12:16 pm
12:17 pm
he ain't never signed the papers, so what you talking about? did anybody? no. you have two kids that you claim he's not taking care of. right. judge lake: why do you think he's denying? torry: because look at him! he always... i don't know. he got insecurities, he's been saying i've been cheating ever since we met each other. judge lake: were you cheating? no! i even got his name tattooed on my neck. like, how can you cheat on somebody like this? that's his name on your neck? torry: yeah. goodson: i also got your name on me, so tell them that. yeah, he got my name on him. so... but you don't trust him as far as you can throw him, and you don't trust her. when he was messing with her, he was messing with me. right, and now she's pregnant. this might be his baby. right. hold up. (audience gasping) i don't know nothing about that, your honor. henderson: i bet you don't. he lying. he lying. okay. now, mr. goodson, i want to go to your mother. judge lake: please stand, ma'am. thank you. judge lake: absolutely. thank you for being here. now, miss anderson,
12:18 pm
please tell me whether or not you believe these children are his. first of all, i don't want him to be like his dad, first of all. his dad got 17 kids, okay, and i'm here... judge lake: seventeen? seventeen kids, okay? i'm here to stop my son from going through all that. precious, i don't know about her. i know the baby, and i think to myself, it's mine. i think the grandbaby's mine. charles, he need to keep his... privacy in his pants. you know, first of all. you don't think your son is making good decisions. not at all. he's not making no good decisions with his life, at all. first of all, we gonna start with these babies. anderson: when we bring babies in the world, then we got problems, hear. 'cause we got little kids that need a dad. that's what i'm trying to... (audience applauds) anderson: ...teach my son, to be a good dad. you know what i'm saying? and that's why we're here today, to see if these kids are his, but we can take care of these kids. not me, i'm a grandparent. i'm supposed to just be here as a grandparent.
12:19 pm
but him, i want him to be a successful father. you know. and as a parent, i feel sorry for these girls right here, because i'm quite sure they knew what they was dealing with, when they dealt with him, okay, 'cause first of all, he don't have a job. (audience laughs) we know. i want you to take this opportunity, miss anderson, and look at your son, and explain to him why you're here with him. he know why i'm here. he know exactly why i'm here. he thinks it's a joke. see how he laugh? he think it's a joke. judge lake: so tell him. it's not a joke, chubby. anderson: we dealing with babies. just trying to see if you their dad, okay? don't play. we ain't here to play, okay? you, drea, you know about him. anderson: you had two kids by him, and i told you... i told you from the first baby, that i helped you, helped you raise. okay? i made a mistake. anderson: yeah, you made two mistakes. mmm-hmm. he wasn't even helping you with the first one!
12:20 pm
anderson: he didn't even have a damn job! so why would you have two? and then on top of it, i go get you a pill that we paid $50 for, and you take back? and had a second baby? come on now, drea. goodson: i told her... chubby, you told me to take them back. you shut up. you shut up. (applause) okay, you shut up. when i see y'all on the internet, all three of y'all baby mamas... okay, all three of y'all, all on the internet... that's when you start claiming her as being your grandchild. anderson: ...arguing over a man that don't even have a damn job. and making all these damn babies, like you crazy now that you got another one in there. right. judge lake: what about your son here, cause... you know what, he ain't no angel either, baby. or is he just not thinking? he's not thinking. when he say it not his, you gonna believe him? anderson: point-blank... what you say? when the next baby pop up, you gonna say, "oh, i believe if he say it ain't his?" anderson: no. we gonna go get a paternity test. we ain't gonna go all through no four years... but did i not say i was going to get a paternity test, but then you said,
12:21 pm
"don't put him on child support. i got you. "i'm gonna take him, i'm gonna make him take care of your baby." and that's what i meant. exactly what i said. when you called me and told me that you was gonna put him on child support, i said, "would you give us time?" he don't have nothing, quit having all these damn babies by him, 'cause he ain't got nothing. judge lake: all right, i have heard enough now. we gonna go to the results of these three children. and now, miss henderson, you are pregnant right now, and you may be returning to this court to see who the father of this child is. yes. judge lake: okay. anderson: oh, my god. jerome, can you hand me the envelope? here you go. anderson: i'm all with this. i can't wait. judge lake: in the case of henderson v. goodson, when it comes to four-year-old lazeyja, it has been determined, mr. goodson, you... so the kids are here. what are you gonna do?

hello, your honor, case of hayes vs. hayes. hello. thank you. you're welcome. good day, everyone. ms. hayes, you say that your sister, the defendant, claims to have a child with your husband of 10 years. and you have petitioned the court for a paternity test. and you are here to warn her that when he finds out her baby is not his today, she'll probably never hear from him again. now, ms. hayes, you state that your sister is just jealous that you were able to have her husband's baby and she was not. right. you have no doubts that your sister's husband is your baby's father, and when you leave here today, you want her out of your lives for good. yes. ms. hayes, how did your sister steal your husband? i came home and found him and her in our bed naked. and i just... you know, i can't believe it. after everything i've done for her...
12:32 pm
i knew that they were sleeping together, but to put it in my face and be in my bed and me walk in and catch them naked... why would it be any different? audience: oh! and i didn't even know about my second husband... she had me around each of them in the same predicament... judge lake: so, you're not denying this, ms. hayes? no. judge lake: just so the court can clarify, this was your younger sister? michelle: yes. i've had custody of this girl since she was 11. you know, the choices that she made between our dad and her mom led her into drugs, prostitution, everything else. the latest time that i rescued you, i helped you get clean. yes, your honor, she did. i went to chicago after not hearing from her for seven years. the one time i did hear from her, she didn't even know who i was on the phone. (sobbing) i got to chicago at 11:00 on a saturday. she walks up to me and she weighs 56 pounds, has sores all over her and has no shoes on.
12:33 pm
we left chicago at 3:00 sunday morning. i'm getting her dressed. i'm putting clothes on this child to take her back to houston with me. i lost control of my life, myself, my morals, everything. and, um, when i got clean... who came and got you every time you picked up the phone? when i got clean, i had just... i had been an addict... who called you? ...and homeless for 15 years. it wasn't your dad. it wasn't your mom. and i didn't know how to be respectful. i didn't know how to be a woman. i didn't know how to be a lady. i didn't know how to respect myself. and it doesn't come overnight. and i did go to detox for a week. and when all this came about, i didn't go to my sister and say, "i need sex" or "i feel lonely." we used to hang out in her room together, watch movies, whatever we would do... so, you guys... first you got along. you were sisters. shana: yeah. you... okay. go ahead. and so everything was great. we would live together, hang out together. i would hang out in her room, watch movies... and at the same time she's lying to him about things that i'm doing to get me and him to argue so him and her can go off and spend time together. and at some point she says,
12:34 pm
(audience gasps) shana: i'm sorry, maybe she did it for my best interests... what? but anybody that was respectful would have said you're my sister's husband. shana: i didn't know how to respect myself. well, anybody that was respectful... and i can admit that. ...would have said, "that's my sister's husband." now you're playing the victim. but you gave him away. it's not about the victim. shana: okay. it's not about being the victim. you are one in a line of many. and let me say... ms. hayes. ms. hayes. let's use proper language in the court, okay? i need clarification on something. particularly the line, "do what you do." (audience snickering) does that mean that you looked your husband in the eye and gave him permission to sleep with your sister? yes. (stammering) what... i was... i had been with him... shana: and now it's a problem. i had been with him for 10 years. she is probably about number 35 of the women that he'd been with. shana: they also had an open relationship
12:35 pm
where michelle has invited people, like on corey's birthday, invited other women over. there was a stripper, yeah. there was. they had an open relationship. michelle: there was a stripper, yeah. it wasn't open... it wasn't an open relationship. there was a stripper that came to the house. judge lake: okay. when her husband then approaches you, is there any part of you that just says, "this woman has done a lot for me." shana: well, i can say... "that's one thing i'm just not gonna do." i tell her today that i'm still grateful for her. i did not go about our relationship the right way. again, i was on drugs 15 years. so within a year's time, i didn't have everything perfected. michelle, i completely understand all that you've done for your sister. i mean, when you enumerate out the lengths, the things that you've done to make sure pretty much that she's standing here today, i think it's commendable. and you've done what a sister should do. the part i cannot understand...
12:36 pm
it sounds like to me as crazy as it is that you gave them permission. the best she ever did for me is take him away from me. now, ms. hayes, i have to ask you, why do you believe if you've let them go off into the sunset, into this relationship, and you know they're together, why do you think... yeah, why do you think he's not the father? he has a six-year-old son... actually, he's older than six now. and he raised a son that he believed was his for six years. he went to court, found out that it wasn't his, he don't have nothing to do with him. he has a girl in dallas now that says she has a baby by him. he won't go take the dna test. and along with the numerous other women that always say they're pregnant, what makes you so special? why... why would anybody... why would anybody wanna have corey's baby? he's not a millionaire. he's not a millionaire. it's not like i'm gonna get a lot of child support. what do you think i want from him? it ain't his money. are you saying to the court that you feel he's unable to have children physically? she hopes that kayla's not his baby. michelle: if i wanted him
12:37 pm
when he came up to me and asked me to sleep with him, i could have. and when was that? when was that? i didn't want to. months ago. i told you about it. let me bring up this. my sister... judge lake: so... ms. hayes, i have to ask you, because you think he's not able to have children? yes, ma'am. judge lake: it has been determined by this court, mr. hill, you... i am just appalled. i just wanna say what i was back then i'm not today. shana: i'm very grateful. preach christ all you want. at the end of the day, you're full of it. you're married to somebody else, but you haven't divorced him? right. uh, that doesn't sound legal. i'm sorry that i didn't make the right decisions, but i'm doing the best i can. it's about that beautiful little baby. are your tears over mr. hill? i can't stand him. it's this... this is confusing to me.

is that really, it's not about you. look at her. look at my baby. it's about that beautiful little baby. michelle: when shana was pregnant, who was there for you? shana: she bought her everything. michelle: everything. everything. shana: she bought my baby... and for somebody who hated me and her ex-husband or husband out of spite... why would they buy my baby everything? it's this... this is confusing to me. (overlapping chatter) because it was disrespectful. i didn't have a baby shower. i know. the only thing i got were blessings from different people. not just you. let's have some order, ladies. (sighing) it's a beautiful, beautiful little girl. and no matter what the paternity issue is, we know one thing's for certain. you're her aunt... and i haven't seen her in months. and i see that you're emotional about that because you obviously love her. you know, it's always that i'm kidnapping her. shana: last time she came over, we had company and we had a roommate. so, she followed my roommate... who's the "we" having the roommate? corey and i. judge lake: okay, that's who i wanna meet.
12:42 pm
i want to meet mr. hill. jerome, can you please go and escort mr. hill into the courtroom, please? it's time for me to hear from him. judge lake: mr. hill, please stand at the podium. thank you very much. thank you for being here today. so, there are questions that you may not be this beautiful little girl's father. now, are you also in question about that? yes, ma'am. i'm not gonna lie. deep down inside, i do have some doubts, and that is because of... you know, i've been through this situation twice before. um, you know, i took care of a child for five years. he's 15 years old now. and, uh, took the dna test. he wasn't mine. judge lake: okay. i want to focus my attention on... i've been with corey since little corey was six. ...this child. so, are you on the birth certificate?
12:43 pm
unfortunately, no, i'm not. michelle: no, he wouldn't sign it. shana: he had to go to work. that's not the case, ma'am. michelle: he wouldn't. he was at the hospital every day and could have signed it at any time. why didn't you sign the birth certificate? i had to be to work within an hour. they came down for her to sign the papers. by the time they would go up and get the papers for me to sign, i would have already been at work. michelle: oh, you was in and out. now, how old is the baby? shana: almost 11 months. judge lake: almost 11 months old? so, in 11 months, you never take it upon yourself to make arrangements to sign that birth certificate? judge lake: it has been determined by this court, mr. hill, you... and i fear for this child. you're just jealous of us and you wanna take the baby. you gotta get it together. i'm sorry that i didn't make the right decisions, but i'm doing the best i can. i never wanted to break two sisters apart.

12:47 pm
this beautiful little girl's father. i do have some doubts. are you on the birth certificate? unfortunately, no, i'm not. you never take it upon yourself to make arrangements to sign that birth certificate? not true again. not true again. judge lake: tell me. this is the deal. they gave us paperwork that we could mail in after we signed it. we did that in the allotted time. they give you 30 days to do that. we did that. unfortunately, for some unordinary reason that i don't know of, we were... they didn't get the paper. and we went... we went downtown to the county to follow up on it. they never got it. so, i mean, that's what happened as far as me not signing the birth certificate. so, that's bogus because she was in the hospital after she had kayla. kayla was in the hospital for a month after they had her. they was... they could have done it. where's the other three or four days? what's he doing up there with her? we didn't have a car. 24/7.
12:48 pm
he was with you 24/7. and mr. hill, you have also told this court that there have been two different instances where you believed children to be yours, and then you find out later that they were not. yes, ma'am. as i stated before, there's a little boy. he's 15 years old. there's a little girl. she's seven years old. (stammering) we took his dna sample. that is the truth. i actually... michelle: for the girl, that is the truth. judge lake: let me stay on this issue. you also stated to the court, ms. hayes, that in all the years that you were together with mr. hill, he never got you pregnant. no. and the other 25 women he carried on with for long-term relationships. you know, you're just jealous of us and you wanna take the baby. i am... that's what that is. i don't want your baby. i don't want kayla. i didn't say you wanted to have a baby. i said you wanted to have the baby taken from us. it's proven by your actions. really? corey: yes. have i called cps on you? yeah, she came in and picked my baby up because we were outside on the patio...
12:49 pm
michelle: her premature baby was on the... okay. i need order. family doesn't save you and then dog you out. she... she called his job after we changed our numbers just to tell him that kayla doesn't look like him. judge lake: this is going all over the place and we're getting nowhere. i'm supposed to be looking at family. yeah. and it would seem as if you two don't get along. i mean, you could be strangers on the street and be arguing like this. now, you all are adults. you can mess up your life, you can not get along, you can be immature, but at some point it affects her. and you gotta get it together. (audience clapping) what is the emotion you're feeling, ms. hayes? (sobbing) you know, you sit there and you say family don't save you and dog you out. you're right. that's why i turned to god. that's the only hope i have. god has brought me a long way and i'm very grateful. preach christ all you want. at the end of the day, you're full of it.
12:50 pm
well, i'm sorry, you don't know... at the end of the day... and the person that... you know, it's about boundaries though. and i am not hearing where... with everything that's happened with you two, where you have created some reasonably safe boundaries like, "okay, i'm okay that you're with my ex-husband now, "but this is what we need to do." oh, it's not about a man. shana: i'm fighting for my baby. it's not... trust me, it ain't about him... judge lake: so, this isn't... so, now you're married to someone else? shana: well, then why don't you divorce him? just because. shana: no? just because? that's great. that's an upstanding deal. judge lake: wait. you're married to somebody else, but you haven't divorced him? michelle: right. right. uh, that doesn't sound legal. shana: seems like everybody's up to something, huh? judge lake: okay. i want to give you both some words of advisement and encouragement. because i looked at a beautiful little girl on this screen, and all i can think is
12:51 pm
she deserves more than this. michelle: she deserves family. (audience clapping) she shouldn't just have to be around them two. this court is concerned with the best interests of this child. i think it's time to reveal the results. michelle: please. please. jerome, please pass me the results. thank you. when it comes to 10-month-old kayla, it has been determined by this court, mr. hill, you... narrator: promotional consideration provided by...
