the fbi is now involved after a prosecutor received death threats. >>reporter: i just got confirmation that the fbi is assisting cleveland police on this and officers are guarding the prosecutor. sources say flyers had been circulating around the cleveland neighborhood where he lived. the big question, who is behind it? the flyers mentioned tamir brison offered $500,000 for proof of guilt. there are also instructions for collecting the money anonymously. the threat comes two weeks after he announced that officers would not -- the officer involved in the death would not be charged. this flyer also mentions race

the prosecutor's office did not have any official comment when we spoke to them today. a grand jury returned an indictment today for a cleveland manna woman accused of murdering their former employer. they were both indicted in connection to the murder of james rouch. a motive in the case has not been revealed, but both worked for the men at various times last year. westlake police trying to track down people behind two

that bath and beyond. investigators say to dyson vacuums were stolen from the store. police say one person the automatic doors open as the other took off. it is believed that these are connected to other thefts. the very next day, two different people did the same thing. one of the employees tried to stop them but was hit by the car as they got away. police say they need your help. this is in addition to a string of robberies that we have seen over the last few months. back in december we learn thousands of dollars worth of expensive vacuums were stolen. a news alert at six,

nearly 200 local workers have been laid off. the news comes as the company's economic future dwindles with demand. we have more about what sparked the layoffs. >>reporter: no doubt a bitter announcement for republic steel, it is also a tough announcement for the city of lorain, which is already facing a $2.3 million budget deficit. the layoffs are a direct result of dropping orders from steel do to though gasoline markets. gasoline prices are the primary reason for these layoffs at well under two dollars a gallon. the city of lorain has already lost more than $1 million in

new concerns about the future of an akron law. about 24 hours ago we learned macy's was closing its doors inside the chapel hill mall. the mall is already struggling. >>reporter: the mayor sent out this statement today saying there is unease about the macy's store closing and he is sending his thoughts and prayers to the 91 people who will lose their jobs. shoppers are concerned about chapel hill mall itself, hoping it can survive this major blow. >> i have shop here for years and i am sad it is going. >> it is the beginning of the end. >>reporter: reactions from shoppers after the news broke
