. there is encouraging news for your wallet this afternoon. the price for a gallon of gasoline could continue to drop this year with the combings of tumbling oil -- combination of tumbling oil prices, that could bring the price of aicalon to -- a gallon to almost a dollar. question, when was the last time gas was a dollar a gallon? 1999. right now, here in northeast ohio, the average for a gallon is around $1.86. and uber announced over the weekend it's cutting the fare prices in more than 100 cities across the united states and canada. uber calls it a move that will help stimulate business to beat what the company calls a winter slump. the amount of the discount varies by city. this is the third straight year that some cities are seeing it at the start of the new year. and could unlimited data be making a comeback? it's an idea that at&t is entertaining. the company's expected to make the announcement today but

may skirt the lake shore, but the general trend here is for it to continue to lift to the north and the east as drier air moves in. we have another storm system here, a spoke of energy moving through chicago and indianapolis and cincinnati. you see it here. this eventually will move in as we head through the latter part of the day today, likely after sunset and through the overnight hours. i think it will be around tomorrow morning. tomorrow morning's commute can be tricky with snow in the forecast and looking out west, even. it's cold. denver, salt lake, and albuquerque. temperatures in the 20s. if you need any warmth, you have to go way, way down into south florida and even jacksonville, tampa, the 40s and 50s right now. i was in the 40s this morning in tampa. and so a very chilly air mass across the entire lower 48. hour-by-hour, we were in the teens and into theup per teens. a warming trend between now and 8 or nine tonight. with the next batch of snow,

the temperatures will -- 9 or 10 tonight. temperatures will rise and we're near 30 tomorrow morning. this is 8:15 tomorrow morning and this is not great. an inch or two of snow and up fortunately, it happens during the morning commute. tomorrow morning's commute could be a slick one and that is not lake affect tomorrow. it's a regionwide event tomorrow. now, the colder air moves in tomorrow afternoon. that will transition us back to lake affect as we chill things off again for wednesday. wednesday, i think we could be stuck in the teens as well for highs. and cold. the windchills at or below zero right now will rise a little temps. the snow returns one to two inches likely overnight and could have an additional inch or so tomorrow morning. on tuesday. another batch of snow early on teens. a little warming trend. friday looks okay. cleveland's star 102 and 98.5
