and that was about 5:00 last night. it was at the intersection of hunter lake drive and meadow lakes boulevard. police say he has life-threat knowing injuries and is being treated -- threatening injuries and is being treated at the medical center. the body of an oroville mother will belaid to rest -- be laid to rest this afternoon. it will be held at the spencer united methodist church in medina county in an hour. larisse woods confessed to killing her last week and is under jail under a million dollar bond. a 37-year-old man was shot on corning avenue around 10:30 last night. witnesses heard gunshots and a car crash after that. corny avenue runs between west 17th street and scranton road on the cleveland near west side. the police say after the victim was shot, the victim continued to drive a short distance before crashing into parked vehicles. and in other crime news, the victim in monday's homicide

central neighborhood of cleveland has been identified. 22-year-old ryan dixon was sitting in the driver's seat of a car when he was shot in the chest. when he r -- we arrived on the scene, that night, we saw two people parked in the back of a police car and police were questioning them about the shooting. westlake police are looking for your help in identifying a wallet thief who used someone else's credit cards. police sea this man made $645 worth of purchases is the several strongsville businesses with stolen cards. if you recognize the man, call police. and all new at the noon hour, canton police believe these two men are responsible for damaging several cars on route 30. canton police believe the men lived in the area where the cars were damaged. the car damage right there near the harrison road overpass. the cars were hit with big rocks and at least five cars sustained damage. if you have any information, give police in canton a call.

the persian gulf in the overnight hours. ten u.s. sailors were held in iran. they were freed this morning after their boats drifted into iranian waters. carla bangara has the latest on the story. >> reporter: announced first on iranian tv, these pictures released by the same show the u.s. sailors on their way back to u.s. custody. >> also, i want to thank the iranian authorities for their cooperation and quick response. >> reporter: the sailors were seen on the floor of the same seized. the one female sailor wearing a head covering required in iran. >> and these were always situations, which, as everyone here knows, of an ability if not properly guided to get out of control. and i am appreciative for the quick and appropriate response of the iranian authorities. >> reporter: the crisis began on tuesday after the sailors'

49 right now in downtown -- 14 right now in downtown we have the little microphone in the back there. it is. and 14 downtown. 14, parma; 16, north royalton. we have a few snow showers. they're random and really lake affect is winding down here as the wind shifts a bit. we have showers up and down 90 east lake toward menner. the same deal toward painesville, concord township, north perry, kurtland and willoughby hills and geneva. and scraping the north coast. otherwise, we're dry. we don't have the lake snow advisory in affect. the weather service dropped that and that is good news there as that band of laic affect snow lifts out and weaken. no advisories, no warnings with this. this is going to be a light areawide snowfall. imbedded here is one to two inches of snow. not a big deal and even the

your assets and protecting something you have saved all of your life from, nursing care costs and nursing homes. >> yeah. yeah. >> and tell me more about power of attorney. a lot of people had questions about that. what is the difference between power of attorney and healthcare power of attorney? >> that is a great question. there are so many miscontentions out there and that is why we do the educational workshops. the power of attorney is a document that grants legal authority to someone to act on your behalf while you're alive if you can't. the healthcare does that for you on the healthcare issues and they're both important documents that everyone should have. >> i have a question. a says a parent, should a transfer my house or other assets to my kids to protect them? >> the answer, the quick answer, no, never. and what happens is that we see that happen. when they do transfer, if my child is subject to a creditor or subject to getting sick or becoming disabled, i could lose my property. we never want to lose control of what we have.
