power of attorney and healthcare power of attorney? >> that's a great question. there's so many misconceptions and it's why we do our educational workshops. a power of attorney is a document that grants legal authority to act on your behalf while you're alive if you can. your healthcare does that for you on your healthcare issues. they're important documents everyone should have. >> as a parent, should i transfer my house or other assets to my kids to protect them? >> the quick answer, no. never. we see that happening when they do transfer -- if my child is subject to a creditor, subject to getting sick or becoming disabled i could lose my property. we never want to lose control of what we have. >> how can i get more information regarding trust, wills and the power of attorneys? >> we offer educational workshops. that's where we start with everybody. come in and get the education.
