drivers to apply the breaks if they are fast afoot on the pedal. the city will reimburse drivers that cars are damaged but there is a catch. the city must first be notified through its 311 system that indeed there is a pothole there. a cleveland man is recovering tonight after he was shot while trying to buy a pair of shoes. it happened late last night on east 146th street in the mount pleasant neighborhood. police say the 23-year-old victim drove to a home to purchase the shoes. when he arrived, two unknown men robbed and shot him. no arrests have been made. cleveland police are investigating a hit-and-run along i-90. officers say a highly intoxicated woman was walking in the westbound lanes near mckinley and hit by a four-door sedan that happened last night. the driver fled to the scene

fractured pelvis and head injuries. all three fugitives from a california jail break are back behind bars. >> broke out of a los angeles jail a week-and-a-half ago after elaborate escape. chris flanagan is like with information. two of the convicts are captured saturday morning after a man in san francisco alerted police officers that he saw the stolen van they were using. we have the video of the two men being taken to jail. early sunday morning. the other fugitive 43-year-old back tan wong was taken to custody friday morning in sanna anta near la after he asked a worker to call the police. we received the 911 call. take a listen. santa ana police. 911. >> hi. i'm calling about buck wong. he wants to turn himself. he is scared and he asked me to call. >> he is not armed or anything. he just wants to turn himself in. >> that's okay. tell him not to be afraid. we appreciate that he is

david eisenhower is accused of killing her and another person helped to dispose of the body. an amtrak report just released but what caused the derailment unexplained. there is information about the fatal may 12th derailment. the documents posted online and by the ntsb includes interviews for the train's engineer. he says he has no recollection of the moments before it. the engineer has been cooperative. among the documents are transcripts of two interviews that investigators have had with him. they say the engineer hit his head in the crash and doesn't recall what happened. he has provided a cell phone and investigators say there is no indication that he was using it while operating the train. the train was heading from washington to new york city and went on a curve in philadelphia.

96 of the money is given to gives 64%. scams and according to multiple media reports it could delay your tax returns. there is a new plan in place to your social security number. and using it to file a bogus return. but that could mean the irs takes it longer to process your return. as dominic explains there are ways to avoid it and others after your tax refund. the start of tax filing season means the start of tax scam season and this year the scams are intended to be worse than ever. last week kathy loomis fell victim for a tax scam. someone filed under her social security number and she had to prove who she was. >> file early before a scammer tries to file under your name.

that way you won't have to make a correction later. here is something you won't see every day. check this out. we can show you we are talking about a police officer and driver in florida flipped the script. a miami woman says she saw a speeding squad car. there it is and instead of holding back, she chased the officer down. and began recording the whole encounter on her cell phone. she followed that officer until she got him to pull over. you are leaving me behind and i was going 80 miles per hour and i just want to know what is the emergency? >> i don't know how fast i was going. but i can tell you i am on the way to work right now. i don't believe i was speeding. the video has gone viral and shows the officer.
