talking to investigators and those forced out. a stark contrast from what we saw earlier when fire crews did their best to put out flames. the good news is no one was injured. hundreds huddled while thoughts loomed in their imagination. >> the urge to wait and see gave way to police commands. evacuations stretched to as many as 300. some other the other side of town. at the lake erie rail yard, flames highlighted the target for more than a dozen fire departments. a train derailment made the -- fire spread. in this small town, word spread faster. >> we were at our pass basketball game for our daughters. >>reporter: people started talking about what was in the air. >> just a smell. a terrible odor. one was carrying butane. one had natural gas.

these for o'malley. hillary clinton, 193. bernie sander, 82. two sides that fought over the middle east. the cap too great for benn -- bernie. across the hall, the paper count giving the night to rubio 3-1 over trump. >> we have a commanding lead over new hampshire. iowa is probably the toughest of all of them. sort of regardless of what happened tonight, we would love to win. >> and the trump people had a pet the i good idea that this might not tonight. one thing to remember. no republican no republican president has one iowa and one new hampshire. cruz has an uphill fight. as far as the race for the democratic side, sanders is going to be having a strong role to play because of his status in vermont.

ohio governor john kasich was in new hampshire instead of iowa hoping to drum up support ahead of next week's primary. campaign analysts did not expect kasich to do well in iowa and without a strong performance in new hampshire, it might be difficult for kasich to get the money to continue campaigning. our own john ka sixthch in iowa. they are currently under blizzard warnings and winter storm warnings. john, if you are listening, get in the car. >> all right. head east. we have that big water storm churning off to our west. it's going to head into the western lakes. for us, it benefits us because it keeps us warm. we get some rain, and yes, we are tracking some wind, but that's really about it from that storm to our west the next couple of days. right now, look at the clear sky action over northern ohio. you can see we have got, well, this shouldn't be a front. it should be clear starry skies out there. we're going to keep those starry skies going. tonight, we'll see a few clouds tomorrow. buckeye chuck if we keep the clear going

eighty-seven% comes from people who live outside the city limits. along with residents, they could see that tax rise to 2.5% if the major's -- mayor's proposal passes. >> it's got to come from somewhere. where is it going to come from? everybody has to do their part. i believe in the democratic system and hopefully it will get better. but that raise is going to hurt a lot of people. >>reporter: with a $42 million budget deficit, the mayor says the tax hike is the only way to avoid lay-offs, cuts to city services and get back on the road to improvement. >> are you afraid that this is going to drive employers out in cleveland? >> no, what i am afraid of is that if, in fact, i can't go on the street, why would they come to cleveland. what i am afraid of is if they call the police and it takes them a half an hour to get there, why would they come? >> according to council president kevin kelly, much of the blame falls on the state's shoulder. local government funding by millions over the fasts past two years. >> i am waiting to see what it will look like and i'm open to it but night if it is just status quo.
