lake and geauga and ashtabula county for the snow advisories, triple wammy, first wave with the artic front and the windchill advisory kicks in and lake-effect snow as well. that's threat number three. for lake geauga and ashtabula and areas outside of the snow belt through tomorrow afternoon. there could be bursts of snow. all right? temperatures in the 20s. you will drop in the teens with hit and miss moderate snow. tara blake has been following this snow all the way in. tara, the road conditions deteriorating. >> definitely deteriorating. we are seeing the visibility lower and the drivers driving slower and back on 90 as you know, two turns back into 90 as you get closer in. lorain county. let's show you the roadways, snow covered and visibility lower and we have seen a few trucks out.

this street yesterday. that man threatened to kill for percocet. >> i was counting my medicine and he come in and snatched it. >> the woman called in and said a suspect walked up and offered to shovel the driveway and he she gave him a couple of dollars and he came back, this time to use the bathroom and the victim let him inside the house but he refused to leave and threatening to hurt her. >> 45 percocet pills. sam white is the victim's neighbor. >> she called me and she was shaken up. >> and the victim thinks she might know who did it. a man named eric that lives on the same street.

police found guns and tools and a t vs. bob jones tells us more. >> reporter: on this remote property in sleeve you will find a trailer and camp stuff. it was ground zero for a trade your stolen goods for drugs operation. deputies got a tip about stolen items on elyria road and it was good. cops from multiple jurisdictions found guns and a grill and a bunch of hot tools. deputies are trying to track down the rightful owners and victims from four counties. wayne, ashland and home and coshocton. the man living there, 42-year- cooking meth. captain doug hunter reveals it was a revolving door of people trading stolen stuff for meth. searching for other suspects in

>> often times they don't have a plan for when they are captured. they believe that they are never going to be caught and i'm happy to say in this case the person has been caught and many of the victims will get their property back in the end. >> reporter: in sleeve bob jones, newschannel 5. a 23-year-old mother is facing aggravated murder charges in the death of her own child. danielle johnson was arrested today after the county medical examiner ruled the death a homicide. the child was taken to rainbow baby's in children's hospital in full cardiac arrest wednesday night. the family told the hospital she was having seizures and was found unresponsive but officers noticed bruising on the child at the hospital. two cleveland man found guilty for killing a 19-year- old woman sleeping while her one-year-old in the room. 20-year-old wil wilson and

a tweet at wews. >> welcome back. we are along i-90 moving in lake county and i use that term rather loosely. in a 70 miles per hour speed zone and moving at 40 to 45 miles per hour. you can see visibility really reduced. a lot of snowfall that we are dealing with and blowing and drifting snow. you see the snow passing us and causing problems with visibility. the snow in the left hand lane causing problems. visibility 50 yards and when vehicles are passing us it produces that visibility and makes it difficult to see. a nightmare ride for three local women that took a bus trip to new york. after we found out about the ordeal our investigators uncovered troubling records behind the company. investigators jonathan walsh has more. this trip was taken just before

>> and what i found out through the documents right here was that even before the women had their bad trip home, u.s. coach tours out of alliance had gotten a second tier rating from a company. lorie and amy and kim that wants to remain anonymous took their daughters to new york city and two buses left and the the sites. >> but the ride home was scary. >> reporter: during that return trip the women said the bus driver was tired. >> he did swerve two times into other lanes of traffic and the swerve that i was awake for was serving to a semi.

>> lorie sat up front and yelled out are you awake. i was scared. >> reporter: i obtained records from the public utility commission of ohio that deals with bus safety. from that trip, the commission cited u.s. coach tours for violations dealing with drivers on the road too much. but that's not all. i found similar violations in the past two years against u.s. coach tours with drivers being behind the wheel too long. less than a week before the women left for nyc the state gave the tour bus company a conditional rating, that means the carrier was out of requirements with safety maintenance problems. the women's advice ... >> i would make sure that i had checked out safety records and i think that is what everybody should do. now one of the operators of carnation u.s. coach tours originally agreed to do an interview but did a u turn and cancel. after several attempt to reschedule i got an email

and i did and no response. i'm investigator jonathan walsh. newschannel 5. columbus police announcing that the victims of the machete attack will survive. the officers investigated why it happened. mohammed berry entered a restaurant and attacked customers inside. the owner went there a half hour earlier and came back. now he is worried that he was israel. police shot and killed berry shortly after the attack. when driving on 90 eastbound as we are moving towards cleveland here, just past west lake and looking much better as far as driving goes, i want to show you the roadways covered and snow is much lighter in west lake and on the back edge of the snow squall that is currently dumping on northeast ohio including downtown.
