police have identified the woman killed by a wrong-way driver over the weekend. 20-year-old kayla coats died when 48-year-old mark rapper his her car sunday morning. rapper is still in the hospital being treated. police say the accident is still under investigation. charges have not been filed. a lake wood man will spend at least 15 years in prison for killing his own mother. shaun white made the plea before his trial was scheduled to start. facing murder and assault charges. in july white stabbed his mother inside her home. an akron plan sentenced to life in prison for fatally chapel hill mall.

marginal road. you see a lot of lights by dead man's curve. a car has flipped there. a news alert about a cleveland police officer's personal car was stolen and his service weapon was inside. this happened monday in akron. we reached out to cleveland police. they tell us that howard hart was at a nightclub and noticed his keys was missing and he went outside and his car was gone. he could face charges for failing to secure his weapon. that has not happened. no one arrested and one suspect is described as wearing drag queen attire. a police officer and another driver was injured when their cars collided on 30th and chester avenue. this happened at 4:00 this afternoon. right now there is no word on the extent of both the officer and the other driver's injuries. two people in lorraine have been hospitalized after they were hit by a car outside of the hospital.

police say an elderly woman lost control of her car by the patient entrance and drove up onto the sidewalk and hit the pedestrian. they also say she hit a parked car with enough force that it was completely spun around. now all new at six there, community. madisonville may disband disband its police department. >> other communities may be facing the same problem. >> one lawmaker says this is what they had in mind with cuts to the local government fund but it is controversial. >> it is like a choice that has to be made. >> reporter: madisonville village is talking about laying off a police department and

ohio state highway patrol says the car had three pounds of pot and 17 boxes of thc cigars and over 50 adderall pills in the trunk. the driver was charged with trafficking and being held in the erie county jail. our investigators showed you a woman that was unlawfully arrested by an officer. the motion was charged by a woman that says she was arrested without probable cause in march of last year. the surveillance video shows jonathan volke approaching her at a bus stop that the woman says he shoved her to the ground and arrested her. an internal investigation shows the officer violated the policy and charges against her were dropped. the rnc months away. but some people already
