this is a 2-year-old girl, lana lowther, three feet tall, 30 pounds, last seen wearing footed pajamas, went missing around 8:43. it's been more than two hours at this point. they just cleared the woods a few minutes ago asking people clear the woods because they're bringing in a helicopter to help with this search and you can see the woods are quite dense and everyone is out looking for this little girl. we just spoke to her grandma. here's what she had to say. >> she would be scared of you. she doesn't just go up to people. she's just a tiny little baby. we need her to come home. >> reporter: again, this is a 2-year-old girl. she's three feet tall, 30 pounds last seen wearing pink-footed pajamas, went missing around 8:43.

looking for this a little girl hoping she'll come home safe. we'll keep you posted. and there may be a peeping tom on the prowl. this has happened before. >> reporter: i got off the phone with east lake police. they don't have a whole lot to work with, but some footprints. they fear it could be happening once again. a peeping tom has pamela collins freaked out. >> something similar happened a few months ago. >> reporter: she's convinced someone is peering into her apartment. >> it must have been a person on my porch coming up to the window and snapping a photo. >> reporter: east lake police say just before 10:00 last night a 7-year-old girl told her mother she saw a man outside their window videotaping with a cell phone. but the department's top cops they don't have much more than that. >> we just had an individual in all black. we don't have a possible race or

>> reporter: east lake p.d. posted a warning about a peeping tom or prowler outside the lake side estates and wincer lodge apartment complexes. >> you're always going to get those random creeps that just really like to put a little bit of an unnerving in you. >> reporter: pamela is worried the peeper may come back. >> i'm a little bit concerned, voyeurs get tired are just looking and want to start acting. >> east lake police only have one reported incident but there could be more. and today's announcement, the ohio attorney general's office will take over the investigation into the anderson death. she died in november of 2014 after the family called for an a.m. balance to help the mentally ill woman.

. there is a massive search underway on the east side of lorain right now for a missing 2-year-old girl. >> reporter: this is 2-year-old lana lowther on the east side of lorain. police believe she may have wondered out of her home. that house is on the other side of the woods that everyone was out scouring right after everyone went door to door. just moments ago they told researchers to clear out of the woods that butts up to colorado avenue so they can bring in a chopper. right now i want to hear what her grandma was saying about her.

a nice little clearing patch moving in to where it's the coldest. it is going to be arctic cold. there are still a couple flurries. 12 in -- ravenna. it's 32 in millersburg, so i doubt you'll see single digits tonight. winds out of the northeast, 7 miles an hour, and most of the snow has gone bye-bye, still can't rule out a couple of isolated flakes for the next hour or so. the bottom line is, is the snow is moving away and we get a snow or so of dry weather. right now on the cold side here, the front has dropped down to the ohio river, there it is, the high build, in. tomorrow should be quite a bit of sunshine and blue sky, albeit the big chill, but look the warm front begins to work in. it will arrive tomorrow night
