. good afternoon, everybody. this is leon bibb on super tuesday. it's a pivotal day for the race for president. republican donald trump is campaigning in ohio right now. trump is scheduled to arrive any minute for a rally in columbus. >> and while ohio's primary is not in for another two weeks, today is the first day for multiple states to vote for a presidential nominee. stephanie ramos has the latest on the campaign trail. >> reporter: here's the reason

the biggest voting day of the year leading up to the general election. voters in 12 states and the u.s. territories, the democrats, are at the polls with scab 10 delegates -- 1610 gel delegates at state. >> and i think it's important we stay unified as a party. >> donald trump is a bully. i think america needs a fighter and not a bully. marco rubio is a fighter and he will fight for the principles we conservatives believe in. >> reporter: both marco rubio and ted cruz rallying to stop donald trump from sweeping up big wins. rubio making stops in minnesota and has home state of florida. cruz trying to win support on his home turf, texas. the latest polls show hillary clinton could beat trump if up against each other but loses to rubio and cruz. nomination. i haven't focussed on hillary clinton yet and i can tell you the one person hillary doesn't want to run against is me and i have that on good knowledge.

the changeover to 8 or 9 and we'll let you know how much snow moves in. and cleveland police are trying to figure out if two suspected smash-and-grabs on the city's east side are connected. newschannel 5 viewers submitted photographs of a black minivan that ended said of angela mia's restaurant in east cleveland. the driver was trying three times to crash through the wall. the suspects were not able to get away the -- with the atm. the restaurant's manager said in spite of the damage, that restaurant in east cleveland is open for business today. and a second smash-and-grab also on euclid avenue was at church square pharmacy and east 79th street in euclid avenue in cleveland. and someone crashed a video in a store front and drove off with that atm. the witnesses saw a black minivan drags the the atm and that was the same description as the vehicle used in the earlier smash-and-grab attempt

anyone with information, call cleveland police, of course. >> and cleveland firefighters, in the meantime, slipped -- spent the early morning hours battling the house fire. the flames -- the fire was so intense, it spread to the house next door and meg shaw was first on the scene and is digging into what sparked this fire. >> reporter: the fire might be out here on fulton road but investigators still have a lot of work to do. cleveland fire said the flames broke out around 2:45 this morning. starting with this home. as you can see, the massive blaze swallowed the house within minutes. eventually, causing it to collapse. >> and that fire spread to the house next door. causing damage to most of the homes. and fire crews were able to put out both flames in 30 minutes. but, it didn't end there. shortly after cleveland fire

7:00, air tracker 5 spotted this heavy smoke followed by fire coming from the collapsed home and after i made a phone call, two crews made it to the the flames. anyone with information is being asked to call the cleveland fire department. meg shaw, newschannel 5. >> thank you, meg. and cleveland firefighters said that both houses were vacant and no one was hurt. an ohio teenager accused of opening fire inside a school cafeteria appeared in juvenile court. the 14-year-old denied charges of murder, felonious assault, inducing panic and making terrorist threats. and four teenagers were injured in yesterday's shooting in hamilton, ohio, near the cincinnati area and classes at the school will resume tomorrow. a wrongful death lawsuit in the chardon high school shooting on february 27th, 2012. and that is moving forward. at least the lawsuit is.

. a shocking report just released by the grand jury claims two roman catholic bishops in pennsylvania helped cover up abuse of hundreds of according to the report. fifty police or religious leaders were involved over a 40- a pennsylvania attorney said that no criminal charges will be filed because some abusers have died and the statute of limiting as has expired. and jurors are expected to hear more testimony from the afternoon. stalker for 75 ms. after a line. yesterday, the dancing with the courtroom witness stand. and a hotel said it was terrible but the stocker is to blame. michael david barrett pleaded guilty to stocking in 2012 and was sentenced to 30 months in prison.
