. brace yourself for another blast of winter. a few flakes flying around right now and a new round of snow is headed our way. and meteorologist jason nicholas is tracking it all, timing it hour. >> and flakes lingering. two more chances of snow as we head for the rest of the week winter is in no hurry to leave northern ohio.

here on our sky cam. notice mostly cloudy skies, early march is here and temperatures certainly don't feel that way. we're in the 20s. mid-20s. 25 degrees certainly a far cry from where we were just several hours ago. temperatures across the region again running mainly in the low to mid-20s. the cold front has moved through, 21, kirtland and 21 shardin. we have snowflakes off of eerie and we have the heavy snow detector on. and where that is hurting steady is southeastern section of cuyahoga county into downtown and sullen, west of the city, lighter stuff and into westlake. here we go, maple heights, north field, twinsburg up and down interstate 271 and as well as 480 and back into portions of portage county and southern geauga county and into the south and west along interstate 71, lodi, westfield, and burbank and into medina. vermilion, wakeman and lolain

student -- 14-year-old student opened fire. four students were injured and the accused gunman remains in juvenile detention after denying charges against him. and there are changes coming to a cleveland landmark. mike bookbank joins us with details on what is in the works. >> reporter: good afternoon. we learned that the city is moving forward with a controversial change. vendors will be opened on sundays. and starting out sundays will be optional. and right now, longtime vendors won't participate. and this is the first time the hours changeed since vendors set up shop here more than 100 years ago. and officials say the move will make the market more competitive. plans are in the works to change the parking situation behind the market and that is on lots a&b. combined and reconfigured, creating 100 new parking spots and that project starts this

north of northfield center and into the summit county-cuyahoga county line and back into the southern geauga-northern sections of portage county along the turnpike, we're getting light snow and into the south and west. more hit-or-miss stuff through southwestern medina county and into easterny and huron. western lorain county getting snow again and not much. things are just lowly snowflakes that won't accumulate too much in anything. maybe a half an inch to an inch. and that is about it. between now and 5 or 6 tonight. as everything will start to wind down. we conto stay cold, a march breeze is -- we continue to stay cold. a march breeze and hour-by-hour for us, the temperatures in the mid- to upper 20s and mostly cloudy skies. we'll break the clouds up tonight and tomorrow won't be that bad through the afternoon. again, we track some snow and take a look. winder snow stats. we're standing at the third least snowiest winter record for cleveland and we're 2 1/2

some six feet tall and about halfway. we're about right there. low. 2 1/2 feet. wow, that is amazing. temperatures in the upper 20s and lower 30s. hour-by-hour, notice a few early flakes, otherwise we're drying things out and we watch for more snow showers to come in. could see one to two inches tomorrow afternoon and another one or two for saturday. mid-20s, a few flakes and cloudy and code. the lows tonight, lower 20s, cloudy skies again. cold and breezy, we'll track that snow tomorrow afternoon in the lower 30s, the same deal with the morning snow shower and a shot of snow for everyone, one to two inches on saturday and look at this. there is your warm-up. this time next week, we're in the middle 60s. yeah and we will see what happens.
