toward ashtabula county to the left of your screen and you can see the pile of snow, a chilly start as we issue up -- finish up your friday into saturday temperatures at 33 degrees and taking a look at the power of five, you can see the snow that we were dealing with yesterday and that tracked to the south. our live 5 radar is not picking up any moisture and just cooler weather this afternoon. and the clouds that are moving across the area. right now, the warm spot all the way into the millersburg 35 and 37 degrees. downtown cleveland, and you're at the freezing mark. shaker heights. a cooler weather pattern and the thermometer is not going to go up too much this afternoon. we're only looking at highs near 34 to 35 degrees and i skies into -- and cloudy skies to tonight we'll look into the

and new at the noon hour, two cleveland police officers driving crash. it was around 5:00 this morning at east 140th street and city's northeast seed. the squad car was rear ended by an intoxicated driver. the hospital. the driver of the other vehicle was arrested. and this time involving an rta bus and a school bus. the school bus side swiped the rta at 62nd and store, west 62nd and store. one person on the rta bus was taken to the hospital for treatment and the only damage was a minor scrape to the bus. and new details about a crash we first told you about on today's good morning cleveland. the police say that alcohol was a factor in an early morning wrong-way crash on the inner belt bridge and it was on the southbound side of the split

and you can see in this video, a ford taurus slammed into a u- haul truck causing heavy damage. the ems crews were dispatched to the scene cleared up before 4 or this morning. >> i feel like cleveland in general, especially this area, has been getting more and more dangerous. >> and this is a stor that began developing this morning and continues this afternoon. people are feelingupez after three different businesses were hit by a thieves and they were held up by a man with a gun who threatened to shoot ems if they didn't hand over the cash he demanded. as cleveland police investigate, they're looking into the possibility that this was the work of a same man and working with a vague deception and have surveillance video and hope that will help them in their investigation. and to a developing story. a north homestead teacher is not in the classroom because of

parents want answers. >> this is upsetting. it's a teacher in our community and our community is pretty tight. >> right now, the district said that it's still investigating what it says is the 32-year-old high school teacher on administrative leave and so far, there is no evidence of criminal misconduct. the district said that parents and students are safe and that that i have nothing to worry about. and in kent, roosevelt high school has been evacuated and students are sent home by bus. the police confirm to us that a threat was made and would not elaborate on the form or extent of the threat. roosevelt high school is a public school with more than 1200 students and we'll follow the story and keep you apprised. and because of increased violence in schools, the ohio board of education is taking comments from the public on rules on portable de-- devisings.

lana zach, abc news, washington. the candidates are back shaking hands on the campaign trails. ohio governor kasich will be in michigan today, looking to gain sent as michigan hides the primary election on tuesday. some day, he's scheduled to return to ohio to where he will campaign with a special guest. arnold schwarzenegger will be with kasich at a rally in columbus to begin at 2:30 sunday afternoon at the botanical gardens in columbus. kasich's campaign is raffling off a chance to meet the former governor and movie star schwarzenegger. and also today, rather sunday, i should say, the political spotlight turns to michigan again for a faceoff between hillary clinton and rival bernie sanders. they will be in flint for a sunday debate as many predict will highlight that city's leg in the water crisis. the democratic debate is to start at 8:00 sunday night. >> and up next at the noon hour, the latest jobs numbers are in. great news for the american economy. we'll break down the numbers in

. new, case western is reverse -- reserve university is asking students to be extra vigilant on campus. they said two female staff members were mugged near the auditorium before 7:00 last night. the two suspects got away with a purse but did not physically harm the victims. university is dealing with heating issues. the university of akron students battled the cold during classes this morning and a broken steam line cut heat to 40 buildings on the campus. the university told students and faculty to bundle up for now. our partners at the akron- beacon journal say the heat is to be back on soon. new numbers from the government show 242,000 jobs

that is a far better number on top of the 172,000 jobs added in january. economists predicted a game for about 190,000 jobs last month. and still, the jobless rate held steady in february at 4.9% and that is at an eight-year low and a level many expect to be full employment. how far, wage growth in february rising 2.2% in february compared to a year ago. they want to see wages grow around 3 1/2%. and the cause of designate for bobby christina brown is revealed. she was found unconscious in january of 2015. the medical examiner said that she died of immersion in water mixed with drugs in her system and it couldn't determine if her death was accidental or

and some reports from the national highway traffic safety administration for ford truck owners. the organization said that it's received 33 complaints from owners of 2013 and 2014 f-150s. driver his reported problems with the brakes, which include pedals on the floor and completely stopped working. no recall has been issued yet as the government continues to investigate the problem. and trending this afternoon, a two-year-old girl at south carolina who really needed help getting dressed for the day. she was so distressed -- disstressed, she ended up calling 911. although little aleah made a call for help for a non- emergency, the responding officer showed up. she was thankful and made a new friend out of an accident there. >> hard and -- we have to do this all day long to have a little girl running to the front door asking -- on her
