old renate smith. they were told she was having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a nation -- with a male student. she was immediately stuck -- immediately suspended. today at kiowa county grand jury indicted her on four counts of sexual battery along with one count of tampering with evidence. >> i am calling to inform you of a serious situation. -- >> they informed all parents via mass phone call. according to the indictment, the relationship with an 18- year-old student lasted about a month. christmas day to january 29. the day the tipster called school administrators. >> whether it was kids -- whether it was consensual is -- does not matter, it was wrong. it should not have occurred. >> she had been with the school for a decade, administrators saying she had a clean record

>> reporter: the superintendent says even though she resigned and charges of been filed, the investigation is far from over. they are still teeing up more information. whether she has her license revoked is up to the board of education. five and you -- euclid, wabash. a teacher under investigation. last night the board of education accepted the teacher's resignation. the investigation continues. the 32-year-old high school student was put on leave -- 32- year-old teacher was put on leave from the high school. a shooting happened just a few hours ago at west boulevard in madison. police say a 30-year-old man was shot in the neck. no word tonight on any suspects or arrests. a community coming together to help those who lost everything in an apartment fire that claimed the life of a four- year-old. it was breaking news we first

a car in the area of the yale avenue today. he was described as a white man with white hair and a beard driving an older black car with tinted windows. this incident, weeks-ish comes weeks after attempted abductions -- a reporter just doing his job -- and more incredible video, a truck plunges off of a bridge and it's all caught on camera. what the driver saw as that truck drops. and getting ready for a little bit of rain coming in or maybe it's a lot of rain. i will tell you which day you will likely need your umbrellas. we couldn't see it for ourselves but we've got the video of tonight's total solar eclipse. we will show you more of this celestial event. and one of the most iconic

headed straight for the reporter when the photographer spotted what was about to have an and yelled -- what was about to happen and yelled to get out of the way, just in time. risked his own life to pull two kids from a burning car on a highway in monterey. you can see him get one out and hand the child to a woman and then go save the other while yelling at the driver to get out as well. clutch the pearls -- the florida highway patrol released this dash cam video from the garbage truck that lost control and plunged off of a bridge. you can see this truck hit the guardrail, then the broken glass. believe it or not, the driver somehow survived. and a car that went off the road in pittsburgh landed on the roof of a supermarket. you heard that right. this giant eagle sits below some city streets, so that is

not until tomorrow afternoon. it's just a very small chance especially right along the lakeshore tomorrow. that we will see an isolated shower. i think south -- akron, canton -- philly, you will stay dry. we are currently dry. we've got a mainly clear sky, 62 degrees in cleveland. a southerly breeze at 10 miles per hour. dew points at 37 degrees. worcester at 45. elyria at 60, so very pleasant overnight tonight. we still have some gusty winds out there, 17 mile-per-hour gusts for norwalk and fremont but overall not a big deal. notice all of this rainfall right here. this is going to be a big flooding issue for the middle and lower mississippi valley, but a few of the showers will break off. the majority of showers go up here.

southern ontario, but one or two may invade northern ohio tomorrow afternoon. the better chance for a rainy washout kind of a day, when this was in right here, that will be thursday. thursday very wet with the blocking high in place and that means, i think tomorrow some of you could see new record highs set. through tomorrow and then we clear -- cool off as the front moves in thursday into friday. the air behind that front in the 40s. once again the hour by hour shows just isolated rain tomorrow afternoon. record highs tomorrow. for mansfield, the record high as 69. we at least high that. the record high for canton is 71. we at least high it. i don't think we will break the record high in cleveland and 73, but close to 70 and then a lot of rain on thursday, over an inch for it -- for greater cleveland. tonight 55, partly cloudy and breezy. tomorrow we mentioned an isolated shower near 70.

thursday and much cooler friday, 48 in the morning you back up -- for rain on sunday. new tonight, a chipotle in massachusetts has shut its doors voluntarily after four workers got sick and it could be the norovirus. >> none of the customers have been sick and the restaurant will get a full sanitation. this all comes a month after all locations closed for half a day to train workers on new safety measures. and a dinnertime classic got a makeover and you probably didn't even notice. don't worry, celtic no one else did either. craft took artist -- artificial preservatives, flavors and dies out of its mac & cheese late last year and replaced them with natural ones. they have sold 50 million boxes so far. no complaints. >> no complaints at all. are we complaining about the cavs?
