the blast at the subway and airport have stunned the city as rush hour got under way. 34 people reported dead dozens more injured and among them four americans. we have the latest on the story in belgium. >> the first set of explosions rocked brussels just after 8:00 a.m. at the height of rush hour. witnesses described this terrifying moment. >> a big bang. everybody ran. we saw the smoke you know. >> calling it a terrorist attack. at least one of those explosions was carried out by a suicide bomber. almost an hour later another powerful blast at the subway station close to the headquarters of the european union and western embassy. >> we heard a loud muffled thud and more woman--panic set in.

a major european capital is on lock down. all flights subway bus and train service have been canceled in brussels belgium after a series of explosions at the airport and a subway station there. this is what we know so far. there were three explosions one at a subway station and two at the brussels airport around 8 this morning brussels time that equals 3: 00 this morning cleveland time. right now there are 34 people confirmed dead, several people americans. in light of today's terrorist attacks the manhunt is intensifying for another in paris. officials think he is linked to the ring man who is now in custody. prosecutors were able to track him down from dna found in the terrorists. as the primary moves west

in the united states voters on the west coast hit the polls to weigh in on the presidential race. donald trump's challengers are hoping to win enough delegates to take the race all the way to a contested convention in july in cleveland. hilary clinton is looking to seal the deal and extend her lead over bernie sanders she took some time out at the pro israel conference blasting the republican frontrunner trump. the latest polls show them toning to be on the the top picks for party nominations. 47% of republicans say they would like to see donald trump win. on the democrat side 51% say they would most likely see clinton get the nod over bernie sanders. a good day of weather would be nice. here's my friend jason with that. >> we'll be pretty good. slowly warming up almost the

temperatures in the 30s and 40s and 50s currently. downtown cleveland show you what's happening. looking at mostly sunny skies believe it or not. a few clouds around earlier this morning but for the most part moving out of downtown cleveland. for the most part the clouds do a battle with the sunshine so partly sunny to mostly sunny early and partly sunny to mostly cloudy later today. 49 to 54 downtown temperatures cooler long the lake shore. 53 west lake. upper 40s lower 50s. kent akrin 52 and 50 upper 40s around where the clouds are hanging on more. notice here in the sunshine medina same deal for downtown akrin and lorraine getting sunshine and temperatures well into the lower 50s. but take a look i showed you this earlier the spring snow is

we are here towards the latter part of march about a week left in the month still tracking snow. this is not all that unusual living in northern ohio but this cold air will stay up to the north as well as all of the snow with it. let our friends in canada deal with it. we'll be dealing with this the next few days. spring air and with that will come a disturbance and cold front coming in that will cool our temperatures off and give us showers and thunderstorms on thursday. thursday is the day we are watching. here we go hour by hour for us temperatures from the lower 50s, mid to upper 50s a good bet through the afternoon. clouds winning out. also want to point out the winds. look at those winds out of the south and west alloching temperatures to warm and be sure to hold onto your hats and anything loose outside. it shouldn't be a huge deal but a touch more than leasty. again i'm optimistic aside from
