a community comes together to help out neighbors tomorrow. the market place was one of many places that lost power during last week's storms. the family owned business had to throw out $95,000 of food. so now the shoppers are planning a cash bomb to make up for the money lost.

it all my life, although i haven't lived here in many decades. this is about this neighborhood and how it changed. here's the school, a good school sold my parents on the area. my dad was a veteran and sought the relative peace of the avenue. the photos show as aspects of my life here -- i was up before sunrise and never feared for my life or well being. but in the decades that have followed something has changed. crime, changed us and for 33 years there had been a festival, attending by thousands.
