police are looking into the possibility he could be connected to other cases . investigators are trying to see if there are similarities. megan hickey is live tonight. what we learned about the latest development. >> reporter: this case is so similar to the objections in cleveland and la area that today police and fbi were out passing out flyers and collecting evidence. the fbi tells me a suspect came to the wiow girl was sleeping and her parents was sleeping in another room. she was taken from the home but somehow she was able to escape. north bridgeville contacted fbi because of similarities to cases involving this unknown suspect. he is wanted in the attempted abduction of in elyria girl in february and the kidnapping of a cleveland girl in may. neighbors tell me they have never had any safety concerns and they are shocked to find out what happened to that little girl .

the cuyahoga county medical examiner's office are is giving us a look at how deadly this past holiday weekend was when it comes to opioid overdoses. 14 people died between september 1 10 yesterday from taking heroin. for the entire month of august the agency said they saw at least 52 deaths as a re two now there have been at least 330 fatal overdoses just in cuyahoga county. they are expecting that number to reach close to 500 by the end of the year. >> oils, edibles, vaporizers -- of medical marijuana all became legal in the state of ohio today .. there are several requirements but even with the program legal there hasn't been much progress in getting a system established.

had more heavy rain. there is wooster drying out temporarily with the showers to the east but more coming in out of new london and ashland. marlboro township atwater, edinburg. heavy rainfall. not a lot of lightning. just a few little flashes there. not a major storm. but enough to slow you down if you have outdoor activities. you can see it is raining. lighter yellow cors light rain there. 77 canton. 80 rosetta cleveland has not raised in a little while humidity is still. 69%. two points lower 70s. we have not change the humidity reading at all unfortunately but we did face the clouds and rain showers. it helps keep the temperatures down.
