school -- middle school. a high school student struck and killed by a school bus. the school bus filled with norton middle school students at about 2:40 this afternoon. you can see that norton fire and ems is on the scene back along with norton police and their crash fire investigation unit. greenwich road is closed as they go over the crime scene and take information from witnesses. we were told by a number of witnesses that this high schools and it wa skateboard and apparently tripped and fell in front of the school bus. i am here with cheyenne, and eighth grade student. she was on the school bus when this happened. what did you hear and see?>> i saw him coming from the side of the school bus and he tried to flip his skateboard up and catch it and he tripped any feldon one of the schoolbus -- and he fell in front of the

the driver did at that moment and what happened in the seconds before this accident.>> she did stop at the stop sign, she did come to a complete stop and she did look both ways. she did not see him coming. he was going very fast on his skateboard. whatever we went over him, it was like going over a speed bump. there wasn't really much of a difference. whatever we heard on somebody called 911, that's when i put all the clues together like it just happened. and i felt like really scared like my bus driver, she started panicking and she just, we all went into shock and some of us were crying, the ones that do him they were really crying. i am just really sorry for the ones that know him and really love him.>> thank you so much.

school a was riding his skateboard, tripped and fell in front of the school bus. greenwich road is closed while police investigate. we are waiting for charges to be filed after three women were found murdered in ashland and richmond county. the bodies were found after a fourth woman called police from the house and national. that's when police found the first two bodies. the suspect, sean michael gray, led them to a very -- buried at a burned-out home in richland county. 60 dogs euthanized in columbus. the dogs were victims of an outbreak of distemper. protocols are in place to avoid disease outbreak's. vaccinations are critical to your pet's health. torn down and taken away the for good.

the scene all evening. what's the latest?>> reporter: you can still see that investigators are on the scene, greenwich road in norton, still sat down -- shut down in front of the middle school after this tragedy at 2:40 this afternoon. release say the high school student was riding a skateboard and apparently according to witnesses there was an accident, he stumbled off the skateboard and into the road. that's when the school bus filled with eighth-graders hit him and scene. you're looking at pictures that were shot earlier here but again, investigators for both the police department and the fire department on the scene, still collecting evidence after this terrible tragedy in norton. we are going to be out here over the next hour or so as they continue to piece this together. i talked to eighth-graders on that bus.
