hillary clinton returning to the campaign trail today as the race for the white house zeros in on the candidate's health. >> after resting for a few days clinton is planning to make stops in north carolina and washington, d.c. and both candidates are now offering up more personal medical details. >> meanwhile, donald trump tried to take aim at clinton in michigan but he was shut down by a local pastor. we get the latest from abc's lana zak. >> if elected at age 70 you will be enter the oval office. why do you think you have the stamina for the job. >> reporter: the discussion about health continues with donald trump talking about his stamina on "the dr. oz show." >> i feel as good today as i did when i was 30. >> why not share your medical records. >> trump shared two pages with dr. oz but hasn't made his medical records public. >> if all he shared was the results of his most recent physical exam that's not a lot of medical information. >> reporter: hillary clinton who

all clear was whiffen. to the weather and tropical storm julia is churning off the coast of the carolinas. it has already brought heavy rain to south carolina causing street flooding but surfers braved the rain to take advantage of huge waves in the charleston area. the biggest risk of flooding is in a few hours at high tide. the sould be stuck on the south carolina/georgia border until tomorrow. radar shows the storm spinning offshore still packed with lots of moisture and justin. >> diane, kendis, thanks and good morning to you, as well. we're tracking julia. once again. not really moving around a whole lot, meandering off the south carolina coastline and more so the movement over the next couple of day, off toward the north and that is going to cause more heavy rainfall and that could lead to flash flooding. other problems will include a very large waves and some minor beach erosion. diane, kendis, back to you.

the most powerful storm in years is pounding parts of china right now. the super typhoon made landfall overnight bringing strongnging and rain and caused thousands to lose their power and forced the evacuation of 30,000 residents. i a giant inflatable moon came loose rolling through traffic in the city of fuzu bouncing through the streets and over car, as well. a white house plan has the the coming years. by the end of the year the u.s. will have accepted 85,00085,000e from conflict zones around the world. more than 11,000 from syria. next year the goal will be 110,000. that's a nearly 30% increase from this year. secretary of state john kerry has already briefed congress about this plan. new this morning for the second time this week, russian hackers have released confidential information about olympic athletes. the data of about 25 athletes was compromised. they haven't yet been named but

on tuesday, confidential medical data of simone biles and venus and serena williams was hacked and posted online. new fallout over north carolina's law limping protections for lgbt people. the atlantic coast conference says it will not play any of its chances in the state until that law is repealed. that includes this season's football title game which was to be played in charlotte in december. conference's exit follows the ncaa's move to reca that law, as we. so power outage disrupted life on campus for thousands at rutgers university. they spent the night in cots and several gyms after being forced out of their dorms. about 90 buildings are affected including more than three dozen resident halls. the kids say they could be out of their rooms for days. quote problem is being blamed. the first family got a sneak peek at the only museum

so it took four guys dressed all in black about 40 seconds to smash the glass on several jewelry cases and steal the high value merchandise. now, police in houston say they made off with millions of dollars of jewelry after the heist, they drove off in a black nissan. samsung's exploding battery problem may be growing. the federal government is looking into incidents involving phones other than the galaxy note 7. this as police in florida investigate whether a galaxy s 7 caused a car fire. meanwhile, samsung has apologized for the issue in south korea but not in the u.s. and it's not known when a revised note 7 will be approved for use here. the trouble isn't over for wells fargo. federal prosecutors are looking at the bank's aggressive sales

our top stories on this thursday, hillary clinton returns to the campaign trail today stopping in greensboro, north carolina and washington, d.c. she's recovering from pneumonia after several days of rest and antibiotics. both candidates released some new details about their health. clinton's doctor declared her fit to serve as president and trump unveiled the results of his latest medical exam on "the dr. oz show" which airs today. being hit with rain from tropical storm julia. the latest risk later at high tide. looking at the rest of today's weather, mostly dry and mild in the west, strong to severe storms from kansas to nebraska and will feel like fall in the northeast. and finally this morning, a scary phenomenon that can really only take place in today's day and age. it's called virtual kidnapping.
