peer perfection weather-wise and a lot of sunshine in store. let's wrap up the weekend and get a brown's win by gametime. the temperatures in the upper 70s and with mostly cloudy conditions. and this morning, new york city police are searching for answers after an explosion rocks the chelsea neighborhood hurting at least 29 people. we have surveillance video from a business in the area and there are two angles. you can see people their business last night when the explosion went off. the city's mayor ruling out terror connections, but he's calling this an intentional act. abc news has just learned a box or toolbox was put inside a dumpster. a second device in a pressure cooker was found a few blocks away and it was in a plastic bag with taped wiring and a cell phone or other electronic device. and we're learning that some of the injured are being released from hospitals and we'll have more on the story later in the hour. and we're following

ashland. suspected serial killer sean grate may have more victims. is come one woman's body was found in ashland county last year and a police source tells newschannel 5 that he could be connected to a marion woman who was murdered in toss thousand dollars. grate is charged with killing two other women and is a suspect in a richland count homicide. and we're working to learn more information about a crash that put two cleveland police officers in the hospital that happened downtown on saturday at west third and frankfort avenue. a woman drove through the intersection there and hit the left side of the police car. the driver and both officers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. and there is noy word on possible charges. >> and we it's the final countdown. we're three hours away from the browns taking on the ravens at first energy stadium and that is where terrence lee and corrina pysa are this morning and good morning to both of us.

and i want to give a live look over me shoulder of the sculpture now and the head coach hugh jackson was here a few moments ago and the cleveland mayor just arriving for the ceremony and this is a big deal. the bronze statue was made by a local artist. dem mix, g who is responsible for creating the jim thome, larry dobe and al learner statues and brown is considered the greatest nfl player of all- time, draft pick in 1957, and leading the team to victory in the 1964 super bowl while crushing several running back records along the way and cleveland browns owner said that brown has left an uncriedible mark not only on the nfl -- an incredible mark not only on the nfl but the city of cleveland and his legacy should remain permanent in our city. the entire ceremony kicks off this morning at 10:30. we're 30 minutes away and we'll

and in the middle of the tree, there was a big cloud of smoke. >> reporter: police say that chaos erupted around 8:30 saturday night. and this aerial footage showing the aftermath of the explosion. debris scattered everywhere. the explosion reportedly coming from a dumpster on the street. >> and there is this big flash of light and everything shook and it was -- [ indiscernible ] >> reporter: nothing is going to happen. okay? >> nothing is going to happen to you. >> and this video ca a bloodied victim, one of 29 injured. >> and there is no evidence at this point of a terror connection. >> reporter: the mayor of new york said the authorities believe the explosion was an intentional act, counterterrorism officers and k- 9 searching the area. >> and the exact cause of the explosion is not determined as of this time. >> reporter: new york city on high alert, especially with the

morning. millersburg, killbuck and coshockton, upper 60s to lower 70s and into the east, 69 degrees and ashtabula, geauga county as well and if you're around north holmstead and north ridgeville, avon lake and some temperatures into the upper 60s and lower 70s. across the board, humidity levels are not nice this morning and even as the front tracks to the south and that is not cutting these is uncomfortable out there and you will have the ac cranking for most of your day and this is being replaced with high pressure to our west and this will really continue to build throughout today and into next week. we're going to be under a quiet weather pattern and at least the next five days and so, hour- by-hour, still, you want to be outside&this afternoon and make sure you have the water handy

the explosion injured 29 people and the governor saying he's ordering 1,000 additional new york state troopers and national guard members to patrol the subways and streets and some good news, there is no did knowledge to the subway system. and the man accused of hitting and killing a ohio state trooper remains behind bars this morning. he did not enter a plea in court yesterday but he denied using drugs while driving and this is video of him taking a field sobriety when he hit trooper kenny vallez on i-90 and his friends and family are still in shock that he's gone. >> and it hurts. it hurts i probably wasn't paying attention and now i -- have lost a brother and whoever his family is, i'm going to lose him, you, through the courses -- courts. >> and that is a difficult

hours are wednesday afternoon at lorain community college and his funeral is thursday morning. and today marks the beginning of national heroin and opioid awareness week, a week of action to talk about the danger of drugs and find solutions to the heroin crisis. the u.s. attorney general is expected to announce a new strategy that focuses on prevention enforcement and treatment. and meanwhile, the number of overdoses continues to sky rocket in ohio an shocking example. in warren, it took 16 doses of narcan to revive a woman while her children were asleep in the back of the car and why it usually takes one or two doses and why did it take so much? drugs are getting stronger and sometimes mixed with tranquilizers that whyer used on large animals and paramedics give narcan until someone starts responding. >> and why they breathing on their own and are they awake
