only six days into the month of october and already the medical examiner's office said there's been 14 deaths related to opiod overdoses. all of overdoses were a result of heroine or a combination of the three. that number ties the record for the highest number of overdose deaths for a single month. a record previously set by 23 of those deaths were residents in the city of cleveland, the other 29 were suburban residents. new tonight, 31 people in custody after targeting a local gang. police say the group was behind a cell of heroine and cocaine around the area and a home and four cars were seized in addition to drugs, cash and
