casual discipline, right now at noon strong words from safety board about a deadly plane crash in akron in a neighborhood. the board just released a probable cause of the crash that happened almost a year ago. bob jones has the latest out of akron. >>reporter: the ntsb said a litany of failures led to the plane crash of last november 10 as the pilots tried to last at akron-fulton airport. much of the ntsb probable cause focused on pile at issues. the pilots did not follow

land with an unstabilized approach. the flaps were set wrong and required check lists were disregarded. the plane stalled leading to a fiery crash into an akron apartment building killing all 19 people on board. no one on the ground was hurt. the ntsb also said there was a disregard to safety that ex tenld toed execuflight which owned the plane. they credit advertised the company by not looking into reasons why the two pilots were fired from previous jobs before they started execuflight. >> they did not ensure that their crews were operating according to standards and we saw that this flight deck was not following procedures. and so, this organization, whether we're talking about the cockpit level, or the organizational level, it was in fested with sloppiness. >> the in the sincere also said the faa had failures related to this tragedy, by not having enough oversight on

later today on news 5. in akron bob jones, news 5. the university of cincinnati is back open this afternoon after a very tense morning. someone fired a gun this morning causing an immediate lockdown. witnesses say a man pulled out that gun and opened fire while talking to a student. >> it was directed towards my friend but it was more in the air. it was a handgun. >> the ji just started freaking out and did that and ran off. >> police say there's no long ear threat but are il the school public safety director said no one was injured. police are trying to identify a man they say was shot and killed in east cleveland. the report came in just after midnight and police found the man near shock avenue and plymouth playings. he later died. investigators are working to figure out how human remains ended up in a a field. a man was discovered a bag with

changes are changing and we're off to a really beautiful start yesterday and today but as for this evening, we're going to start to see some rain coming into play. kurcht temperature right now 78 degrees in that live shot you just saw there and it's 12:18. lets get a look now at the radar. so dry conditions greet you as you walk out your door this morning. should be a smooth commute as far as weather goes. you can see here this little white-ish gray are the clouds moving in and that's going to precede the cold front. behind that we're going to see some rain. i just want you to know even though we're saying rain tonight, tomorrow will be relatively nice. as we head into thursday that rain chance goes right back up again. so wednesday night into your thursday, you can expect those rain showers to move in. friday we also have a slight chance for rain but by saturday we should dry things out. so why you say? we have a cold front that's passing through.
