cars wrecked and undrivable. news 5 meg shaw is working for answers >> . take a look. this giant hole has caused a headache for drivers out here. they drove right into it because they say not enough barrels and signs were posted warning them about it. it's all part of an $8 million construction project here along west 130th street from perk construction. they just started work and a local business manager says he's already watched several drivers damage their cars. this being one of them. i poke is the driver. he tells me this barrel and caution tape were not in place when he drove into the hole. so i called a couple of people within the public works department. they tell me caution tape barrels and proper signage should have went up immediately. not only to warn drivers but pedestrians as well. i'm told the department will

a touching story out of texas. a high school senior came to the aid of a 9-year-old girl in san antonio. his father is training in california right now. he's a senior airman who served in iraq and afghanistan. the 9-year-old -- while performing in the game the other dads took to the and lifted their girls. just when she began to cry, something special happened. >> i ran down from the bleacher esen adjust hopped the phenomenon i went over and i kneeled down and i talked to her and i said are you okay? >> you can come on my shoulder glssments i realized what he was doing and my heart just melted. i mean, it was -- it was just the most beautiful thing. >> so sweet.
