away from a world series title. what about the full-time employees who have been working hard behind the scenes for the team every day? well this weekend they get the ultimate world series experience. the indians rewarding their employees for their dedication. employees like matt tagali who works in the i.t. department. he and about 150 co-workers and their significant others will be at wrigley tonight for game three. then another 150 workers and guests will be flown up tomorrow f extra meaning for matt who started his indians career in 1997 when the team went to the last world series. now he's hoping for two titles in the city in less than a year. >> it's been great. i was honestly worried that i might never see a championship in my lifetime and we've got that behind us. now we want to go for two this year. it's been terrific and exciting. >> reporter: full-time employees like matt have also gotten two tickets to each indians playoff game here at progressive field during this post-season run. not bad for some perks of the job.

>> not bad at all. thanks, nick. the fanfare has already began outside the field of chicago. we sent laura to check out the scene at wrigley field. >> reporter: hello from wrigleyville in chicago. i'm right in front of the wrigley field. you can see it here saying home of the cubs, indians verses cubs world series game three at 7:00 tonight. so much energy in this neighborhood. you can see fans wrapped around wrigley field. they're all waiting in tickets if any are available. and also on the sidewalk all around me here, tons of cubs merchandise for sale. you'll notice there are no indians t-shirts represented here. we are hoping for a wonderful game tonight. sending it back to you. there are still tickets available to the watch parties at progressive field in cleveland for games three, four, five. tonight, saturday, sunday. those tickets are just $5. you can sit and watch the game

at progressive field. all of the money raised will go to local charities by the way. right now one of the biggest draws in cleveland today has nothing to do with our chicago-bound indians. instead it is a free jay-z concert. there's been a line wrapped around the block all morning outside cuyahoga county board of elections really across the street from there i should say. derick waller is live at east 30th street in euclid outside that area. derick, this is creating traffic jam. >> reporter: leon, it is very busy out here. people are standing in line for those free tickets. this is actually hillary clinton's campaign event. perhaps more people than what they thought because take a look at this line extending down euclid avenue, down east 30th street towards prospect. it's been going on for some time. lots of traffic too that it is tieing things up during their commute. we have some video from earlier because that line formed before the sun came up. people were waiting in line for tickets for a chance to get

but we still don't know exactly where it will be that those tickets are not guaranteed a seat if that unknown venue reaches capacity that it has not stopped people from standing in line for hours to get their tickets. and also to get acquainted with their campaign team. >> it wasn't so bad that we got here early at about 6:00. that we waited two hours for the door to open that we went in quickly and then we went across the street and we voted. so there you have it. i also spoke to cleveland police who do not have any out here, but it is something that you'll want to be aware of if you plan to come here to get out to vote. live in cleveland derick waller news 5. >> thank you for your report as well, derick, we appreciate that. let's check in with tara blake. we've got cloudy skies again. >> we do. if they're standing in line they're probably shivering. it's not cold by any means, but certainly cool when you're stuck under those clouds. the good news, a warm up is headed for our way.

currently stationary back west moving closer to home. we'll see some temperatures back in the 70s in the near future. now for us here we're worried about the potential of any rainfall for those friday night football games. i do have good news here as well for tonight dropping down to 55. we expect the highs around 58. so not much of a drop off, but 55 for our kickoff. that dry night will be a little cool in the stands at 54, but still not bad rainfall wise we are quiet today. we will take a look at what our tribe is going to be facing coming up in just minutes. leon? >> thank you, tara. a possible break in the recent smash and grabs across the city. police arrested a man at gunpoint. the arrest followed a call from someone that told police that there were two suspicious vans in the west 50th street memphis avenue area, while officers were following the vans. one driver crashed the vehicle. two people ran away from it.

similar to those seen in recent smash and grabs. police arrested two other men during the raid. the dealer that says both men were charged in connection to the arm smash and grab at at gas u.s.a. on euclid avenue. the climb was in september. police say that the two were a part of the street gang. 11 others were tied to the game and also arrested and charged. developing today, the parma city school board for a new president. again the parma school board president is stepping down just weeks after taking office. but what the board dealt with is big money issue at the meeting last night, they approved a fiscal recovery plan to submit the state officials. some jobs and the extracurriculars, they are on the chopping block. but the possibility of a consolidation of the district's three high schools, they are off the table. for now.

during the overnight hours, protesters in north dakota, they were evicted overnight from the private land, which is in the path of the oil pipeline there. they would take almost six hours to clear them out. hundreds of armed police and national riot gear that were brought in and they fired bean bags and pepper spray. at least 117 people were arrested. they included a woman who pulled a pistol and they started firing at officers. they were just missing the sheriff deputy. there were no serious injuries reported there at the incident there in north dakota. president obama is granting communications to more federal inmates. he has shortened the sentences including a euclid man sentence for cocaine trafficking,

they were dated drug loss. a california woman awarded more than $70 million in her suit against johnson & johnson, that years of using their baby powder gave her ovarian cancer because it contains a chemical. the third case to win the verdict. about two -- 2,000 women have filed suits. some judges have thrown them out sayi enough reliable evidence that leads to ovarian cancer. from the hoverboard manufacturer, the family is asking $30 million. they claim that they were negligent and not warning consumers about nine fires caused by the hoverboard. they also say that the product was falsely represented and did

battery as advertised. a texas college student is behind bars, closed now and not like she was when they found her. the woman is accused of crashing into a parked police car while drunk and sexting with her boyfriend. police say that 19-year-old miranda rader was taking a topless selfie for snapchat. the texas college student failed three field sobriety tests. a bizarre arizona was interrupted when they made a stop at a fast food drive thru. the suspect was on the run from the domestic violence charges. during the chase they would pull into the in and out restaurant. they were arrested trying to break into the house as they drove them through to the jailhouse. some much needed help, the new rules in place to help protect students from college loan fraud.

vice presidential candidate and indiana governor is safer on the ground today. his plane skidded off last night. donald trump's running mate and others were evacuated. there were no injuries. trump and hillary clinton are working to keep their campaigns on course with just 11 days to go in the meantime. here in ohio calling them ghettos. hillary clinton is dealing with the latest wikileaks release, hacked e-mails, not yet authenticated. reportedly the allegations are that they reveal how their aides pressured companies to donate to the clinton foundation. hillary clinton shook it off. she embraced first lady michelle obama, that was in north carolina. >> and hillary club play. she had more experience and

any candidate in our lifetime. clinton is in iowa today, she was joined by the national women rights leaders, expected to make the final pitch to women voters about the importance of voting in this upcoming election. some help is on the way to help those with the administration, issuing new rules for fraud and misconduct by their schools. the new rule allows students to have their loan debts erased. they also hook financially for repaying the loans instead of the taxpayers. the new rules will ban them from forcing students to find agreements, saying that they will not sue over misconduct. let's check in on that all- important weather situation on friday. gray skies again, cool temperatures again. i'm getting the feeling. >> yes, that we cannot avoid it
