look dry. one more nice day. more details coming up in just a few minutes. >> fire investigators are working to figure out what started a deadly fire. this happened on woodland avenue. >> kim dacey has the latest on the investigation. >> fire investigators are expected to be back at the home today searching for a cause. just after 5:00 sunday morning, firefighters were called to the 2900 block of woodland avenue in northwest baltimore. >> they arrived on the scene to find heavy fire and smoke conditions coming from the rear of that structure. we did learn that three of the occupants in the home escaped without any injury. unfortunately, one adult man did not. apparently, he perished in that fire.

preliminarily, we believe it to be due to smoke inhalation and burns. >> the man's body was found on the first floor of the home. his family is still trying to deal with the shock of losing him. they say he was a huge sports fan, looking forward to sunday's game. >> it is just a hurting thing right now. yeah. we were supposed to met him over at the ravens game. we take turns at each other's house, having the ravens game. he won't be there. >> two firefighters suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the fire. one had a burn to his ear. the other was shocked by a downed power line. they were both taken to the hospital but are expected to be ok. firefighters will try to determine whether there were working smoke alarms in the home at the time of the fire. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> thank you. police in frederick have a man fighttody oafter a

spiraled out of control. police say derrick nash fired several shots early on sunday morning. it is believed he fired the shots while driving away from the scene. he has been charged with two counts of reckless endangerment. the cleanup continues after an suv plows through the front of the store. it happened on saturday at the fashion bug on reisterstown road. the driver was parking the car when it went through the front window of the store. >> a second round of west nile sprint will take place in baltimore county this week. parts of pikesville will be sprayed tomorrow and catonsville next wednesday. 10 people tested positive for west nile when they went to donate blood.

>> welcome back to 11 news today. 6:44. another violent weekend in baltimore city with four shootings, one of them deadly. one victim is in stable condition. another gunshot victim walked into a hospital just before 2:00 a.m. on sunday.

that victim is listed in serious condition. another man was shot during a bar fight on south pulaski street. no word as to who shot and killed a man in southwest baltimore. a man was shot multiple times near coventry road. anyone with any information should call police. police are hoping you can help find a missing 9-year-old boy. he left his home on saturday afternoon at about 2:30 and has not been seen since. he is about 4 feet 11 inches tall and was wearing blue jeans and black tennis shoes when he left his home. anyone with information is asked to call 911. >> a boarding house has some

minnesota and wisconsin. that will come down on us. temperature is a little chilly this morning. 53 degrees at the airport. frederick, 45. edgewood, at 56. annapolis, 61. you can see the chilly air demonstrated in blue. it run up into new england and the eastern portion of the great lakes. hear of those thin clouds to the south with the rainmakers in the carolinas. -- here are the thin clouds to the south. that will be pushing moisture our way. looking for some tropical development. this front will start to make a move.

the high pressure has to get out of the way. we have some rain on the icon. most of the day will be dry. southeast winds said 5 to 10 miles per hour. small craft advisory will be going up. a one to two-foot chop on the bay. the actual moisture will be held off until evening and overnight. the highest rain chances will be tomorrow as a cold front moves and. once that goes through, we should dry out and the end of the week looks just fine. tomorrow, severe weather a slight risk. here's the seven-day forecast.
