>> welcome to gospel truth with andrew wommack. a teaching ministry that focuses on god's unconditional love and grace. >> and now, here's andrew. welcome to our friday's broadcast of the gospel truth . this week has been a different format than we normally have on our program.mat instead of just teaching the word, i have been giving testimonies and proof of how the word works and i tell you, i believe that that's missing in a lot of religious or christian circles today that we espouse things and say this is what the word says but it can't be worked out practically. these are testimonies. these are five testimonies on this brand new dvd of people who have been miraculously healed and i've been using this to illustrate that the fruit of what we're saying is good and if the fruit is good i believe that the root is good. i believe it ought to encourage you to embrace these things and the things that have worked

for other people will work for you. so we've already told about a boy who was raised from the dead. we've told about a young boy... 17-month-old... who was healed of stage 4 cancer. we've told about a man who was miraculously healed from all of his back problems and other things that were facing him. we talked about a man, gunar gerthe, who was healed of an aneurysm... a massive aneurysm. the doctor said it looked impossible for him to live but god brought him back from the dead and he went over to germany and opened up our bible college there. today i want to share with you about timothy and james mcdermott. they're also from england and i remember meeting them and the mother came and asked for prayer for her children, who she said had autism. it turned out that one of them was actually diagnosed with asperger's syndrome and the other one with autism and anyway, there was a number of things that impressed me about this testimony

bue o boys was just able to communicate her frustration and hopelessness in a way that touched me. i believe it's also going to touch you and many of us... you know, when we see things like autism and stuff, we...we see that it's a tragedy but we don't... we won't really go there. it's like we don't know what to do with it and so we kind of ignore this and many times we just don't recognize some of the hurt and the pain and the frustration. like one of the phrases that... in...in this video that just really touched me was how that the mother said that she just wanted to have a normal life. she wanted to be normal. she wanted to go to a movie and eat popcorn with her kids, which is so simple. most of us don't ever think about things like this, but they in a sense were just totally isolated. they couldn't take their children outside of the home because of the way they would act out and the things that would happen

and i tell you, it just really touched me, and i believe that likewise this is going to be a tremendous blessing to you. so watch this. this is the mcdermott testimony of their healing of their two boys from autism. > there we were and had been for a very long time in a... in a place of crisis > as a family. >> and i was very, very tired. i had come to the point where i thought i would go mad >> or drop. > no one understands you from the outside. no one had any idea about the kind of life > that we were living. >> and...and i just...i cracked.
