(beeping) billy, the fumes from the tanker are getting stronger. >> we're working on a plan, jack. there's just one exhaust fan working. find that vent, and you'll have clean air until we can get to you. >> at the rate the fumes are

taking over, we need more than just one vent. we have to close off a section of the tunnel to isolate ourselves from the fumes. the only way to do that is to create an explosion. >> sounds risky. >> i'm doing structural readings right now. i found a place where setting off a small explosive should do the job safely. >> good luck, jack. looks like we knocked out the metarex. the big one is out of commission, and the planet egg's going back where it belongs. thanks to sonic! yeah! he was incredible! he's a real knockout! wait a second... why isn't he coming back to the ship? hmm? what's wrong? the cannon that launched sonic out of the ship worked great.
